A 65-inch, 4K resolution TV that rolls down into its base, Oled R is a new product presented by LG Electronics at CES 2019<\/span><\/h2>\n

At Las Vegas<\/span> Consumer Electronics Show 2019<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>LG<\/span><\/a> surprises us again.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to presenting the world\u2019s first <\/span>capsule-based craft beer<\/span> making machine, the South Korean giant draws our attention with <\/span>Oled R<\/b>, a <\/span>TV that rolls like a sheet of paper<\/b> disappearing into an elegant base.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year LG presented the <\/span>rollable TV technology <\/b>as a future possibility for its Oled panels, of which it is the <\/span>sole manufacturer<\/b>. That possibility has become real with <\/span>LG Oled R, the new <\/span>65-inch<\/b> and 4K resolution TV of the <\/span>Signature<\/b> line, <\/span>available by end of 2019<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the use of a product like this?\u00a0<\/span>Don\u2019t think about it as a mere television, but as a <\/span>design object<\/b> that you can show with pride or hide whenever you like.<\/span>Oled R offers three <\/span>viewing options<\/b>. In addition to the classic TV mode when fully rolled up, there is <\/span>The Hidden Zero View<\/b>: the screen completely disappears into the base, allowing you to see what is generally hidden behind it and to place it wherever you like \u2013 even in front of a large window, not just before a wall. In this mode, it also acts as a <\/span>sound bar compatible with mobile devices<\/b>.<\/span>The last and perhaps the most creative option is <\/span>The Horizon Line View, <\/b>which allows this new LG TV to <\/span>unleash its potential<\/b>: it becomes an elongated screen offering 5 features \u2013 <\/span>Music, Clock, Frame (for your pictures), Mood, and Home Dashboard<\/b>.<\/span>The price has not been announced yet but it is very likely that, although it will not be a low-cost product, LG Oled R will be immediately a great success on the global market.
