DDN Phutura will be at the Fuorisalone during the Milan Design Week. Design, sustainability and smart mobility will be on show on Piazza Castello from 9 to 14 April<\/h2>\n

As we said last week<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>during the Milan <\/span>Design Week <\/b>(9-14 April 2019), Design Diffusion News will take part in the Fuorisalone. In the space surrounding the Sforza Castle, it will present <\/span>DDN PHUTURA<\/b>, an <\/span>edutainment<\/b> path.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amazing installations will make visitors learn about the innovative solutions that favor the relationships between human beings, in a <\/span>digital and immersive<\/b> way, paying attention to the environment and using technology in the best possible way.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to enhance and reuse waste wood<\/b><\/h3>\n

Among the various installations of <\/span>\u00a0DDN Phutura<\/span><\/a>, there will also be <\/span>Gruppo Saviola<\/span><\/a>, which, in collaboration with <\/span>Studio Garbugli Design<\/span><\/a>, will present Metamorphosis’s Experience, a <\/span>multisensory installation based on the virtuous model of circular economy<\/b>. An immersive and interactive journey that develops in four areas and that will allow visitors to discover the <\/span>production cycle, from post-consumer wood to the end product<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Saviola Group is <\/span>among Italy\u2019s top 300 industrial realities<\/b>. This success is due to Mauro Saviola\u2019s futuristic ideas. When the word \u201cecology\u201d was far from being on everyone\u2019s lips, the founder had the <\/span>pioneering idea of recovering and enhancing scrap wood<\/b>, i.e. giving new life to what was hitherto seen only as something to be discarded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even the wood of an old cabinet may become the basis for a new cabinet<\/b>, through a potentially endlessly repeatable cycle. <\/span><\/p>\n

Electric kick scooters for smart mobility in the city<\/h3>\n

The city of the future, according to Design Diffusion, is also ‘<\/span>smart mobility oriented<\/b>‘. The official sponsor of DDN Phutura is <\/span>Dott<\/span><\/a>, a <\/span>European startup founded by Maxim Romain and Henri Moissinac<\/b>. Dott\u2019s mission is to design its concept of mobility in a safe, comfortable and durable way, to allow the citizens of every European city to have a pleasant travel experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Already present in cities such as Paris and Brussels, Dott is getting ready to arrive in Italy, starting from Milan. In the area before the Sforza Castle, <\/span>80<\/b> Dott <\/span>kick scooters<\/b> will allow the visitors to move faster about the area of the event. They will be <\/span>available for free test drives<\/b> and scooter sharing via an App that can be downloaded from the main digital stores (Play Store and Apple Store).<\/span><\/p>\n

With a simple click<\/b>, you will be able to book the vehicle, unlock it and pay for the service. At the end of your travel, you will park the kick scooter following a free-floating scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n

Italian design conquers China<\/h3>\n

Among the many scheduled events, the Talk area of DDN Phutura will host <\/span>ICAF<\/span><\/a> (Italy & China Architects Forum)<\/b> on Wednesday, April 10<\/span>th<\/span>. The speakers will be numerous, including some of the world\u2019s most famous architects and designers: <\/span>Jiang Feng<\/b>\u00a0(Founder of J&A Co.,LTD.);\u00a0<\/span>Steve Leung<\/b>\u00a0(President of International Federation of Interior Architect\/Designers, one of Hong Kong\u2019s top ten designers);\u00a0<\/span>Joe Cheng\u00a0<\/b>(Founder and chairman of CCD);\u00a0<\/span>Xie Tian<\/b>\u00a0(professor of China Academy of Art);<\/span>\u00a0Ge Yaxi\u00a0<\/b>(Design Director of TRUEBOND);\u00a0<\/span>Ben Wu<\/b>\u00a0(Chief Designer of W.DESIGN & Founder of W+S GROUP);\u00a0<\/span>Zeng Jianlong<\/b>\u00a0(CEO of GID studio, Singapore);\u00a0<\/span>Liu Daohua.<\/b><\/p>\n
