DITP<\/span><\/a> presents the winners of the <\/span>DEmark<\/span><\/a> award, objects that best <\/span>interpret<\/b> Thai craft tradition<\/b><\/a> from a contemporary point of view<\/b>. A new generation of objects that <\/span>combine manual skills with new technologies, for a high value added production<\/b> that can be applied also to industrial volumes, mixing \u00a0craftsmanship and industry. Therefore, the added value of design consists in applying <\/span>future technologies to traditional processes<\/span><\/a>, for an increasingly sustainable production.<\/span><\/p>\n

T-STYLE – Thai design<\/h3>\n

T-Style<\/b> celebrates <\/span>Thai craftsmanship, effort, time and expertise that, combined, create unique products<\/b>. Thai craftsmen create with passion, which is the focus of <\/span>\u201cFine Craft\u201d<\/b>, the exhibition dedicated to <\/span>Thai handicrafts, made with recycled materials from agricultural waste and other production scraps<\/b>. Recycling and reuse have become habits in Thailand and \u201cThai style\u201d products are characterized by excellent workmanship and quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thai style: sustainable design<\/h3>\n

Sustainability, recycling and reuse lie at the heart of contemporary Thai production, which mixes traditional craftsmanship and new technologies to make the best use of the new materials obtained from agricultural waste. Techniques and materials are applied to <\/span>furnishings, complements, fashion accessories and clothing<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

At <\/span>Ventura Future<\/span><\/a>, at <\/span>Base-Ex-Ansaldo<\/b>, from 9 to 14 April, <\/span>Slow Hand Design<\/b> and <\/span>T-Style<\/b> will exhibit several products made with these new materials. The exhibitions are organized by the <\/span>Thailand Office of Innovation and Value Creation, Thai Trade Center<\/b>, Milan, and the <\/span>Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP)<\/b> and <\/span>Thai Ministry of Commerce<\/b>.
