Objects and sounds blend to create a performance that changes depending on who interacts with it<\/h2>\n<p>ECAL \/ University of Art and Design of Lausanne presents an unusual collection of interactive bells developed by Industrial Design freshmen, guided by <strong>St\u00e9phane Halma\u00ef-Voisard<\/strong>, director of the degree course in Industrial Design, and <strong>Mathieu Rivier<\/strong>, holding a degree in Media &amp; Interaction Design. This project is part of the exhibition \u201cSound &amp; Vision\u201d, in collaboration with EPFL + ECAL Lab, which takes part, for the first time, in the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2019.<\/p>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"gsrt tw-ta-container tw-nfl\">\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traduzione\"><span lang=\"it\" tabindex=\"0\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-108107 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/ecal-milano-fuorisalone-3-1024x445.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1089\" height=\"473\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecal-ringmybell.ch\/\">Ring my Bell<\/a>, the exhibition designed by ECAL, is an unusual collection of interactive bells that offers an immersive experience, from tinkling bells to audiovisual music recordings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sound and objects<\/strong> are two elements that designers hardly ever combine, yet most of the objects we use every day produce a sound, such as sitting on an armchair, opening or closing a kitchen cabinet, or even switching the light. What do these actions have in common? Movement.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-108109 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/ecal-milano-fuorisalone-2-1024x422.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1087\" height=\"448\" \/><\/strong><b><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Movement is what connects objects and sound<\/strong>.
