This is why they love greenery and nature in every form. The trend of outdoor furniture has been steadily growing for 10 years and every outdoor space is furnished in the best possible way <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-120807\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/spoga_gafa_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"787\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p>World population will increasingly concentrate in urban areas and this trend is spreading all over the world. As a consequence of this movement to the cities, new generations increasingly appreciate urban greenery in all its forms.<\/p>\n<p>According to a research carried out by American <a href=\"https:\/\/gardenresearch.com\">Garden Research.com<\/a>, the website of the <strong>US National Gardening Association<\/strong>, in 2018 <strong>29% of buyers of flowers, plants and outdoor furniture were Millennials<\/strong>. Moreover, in the United States, the average expenditure for gardening products rose by about 100 dollars on 2017, reaching 503 dollars.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-120805\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/spog_gafa_4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"787\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is a fairly logical consequence of the fact that younger generations spend much more time indoors. Nowadays, fewer jobs take place outdoors and more take place inside buildings; also the home office leads to spend less time outdoors, without even moving between home and work. In addition to this, <strong>a new environmental awareness <\/strong>is spreading, <strong>encouraging the use of every green space<\/strong> to improve the quality of our environment as much as possible.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-120805\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/spog_gafa_4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"787\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>According to Garden Research.com, 30% of Millennials bought at least one indoor plant in 2018<\/strong> and an analysis on the visual social network <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.it\/ddnblog\/\">Pinterest<\/a> shows a significant increase in <strong>searches for<\/strong> <strong>terraria and indoor plants that need little water<\/strong>. Millennials show affection for indoor plants, considering them almost like pets. This is a positive sign since it helps them develop a further sense of responsibility towards the environment, as well as improving plant health.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-120809\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/spoga_gafa_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"787\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These facts, provided by <a href=\"\/?p=95916\">Spoga + Gafa<\/a>, the garden trade fair held in <strong>Cologne from 1 to 3 September 2019, <\/strong>at Koelnmesse, officially support the idea that outdoor space is the new furnishing frontier. Gardens, vegetable gardens, terraces, roofs, balconies meant for private or public use are spaces on which we invest a lot<strong>. <\/strong><strong>In 2018, the sector of outdoor furniture, which has been growing for about 10 years, recorded a turnover of 1,600 million dollars in Italy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-120815\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/spoga_gafa_6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"787\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the sector of outdoor furniture is constantly growing all over the world. As to sales trend, in recent years, many <strong>centers dedicated to gardening have doubled the areas dedicated to outdoor furniture to meet the need to live in the open air<\/strong>. To meet the widespread environmental awareness, companies specializing in the production of outdoor furniture are increasingly focusing on less polluting production techniques, using recycled materials, saving energy, conceiving systems to recycle and reuse old products.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-120811\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/spoga_gafa_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"787\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What about products?
