The deadline to register for the 2019\/20 edition is September 30th<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Every year, dozens and dozens of products are designed around the world. <b>A\u2019Design Award and Competition<\/b> is a competition addressed to designers and companies eager to submit their projects to an international audience of journalists, bloggers, buyers and design operators in general. The winning projects receive <b>a certificate, an award trophy and an invitation to the gala dinner at the award ceremony<\/b>. However, there are many other advantages: the products are displayed during the <b>winners\u2019 exhibition and published in the Annual Yearbook, the volume that contains all the projects<\/b> and is sent to specialized press. The campaign to promote the winning projects also entails their inclusion in the press kits sent by DesignPRWire, an interview on Design Magazine, and the concrete sales support of a Design Mediator. Moreover, it is also possible to use the award logo and the project is included in the World Design Rankings. The 100 categories are grouped into <b>Good Industrial Design Award, Good Architecture Design Award, Good Product Design Award, Good Communication Design Award, Good Service Design Award, Good Fashion Design Award<\/b>. <b>Good Industrial Design Award<\/b>, for example, includes <b>Furniture, Decorative items and Homeware design<\/b>, which gathers all furnishing items, such as chairs, tables, benches, sofas and upholstered furniture, and furniture in general; <b>Lighting Products and Projects Design<\/b>, with lighting products of various kinds and all the projects where lighting plays an important role; <b>Home Appliances Design<\/b>, including all appliances; <b>Baby, Kids\u2019 and Children\u2019s Product Design<\/b>, featuring products for children; <b>Street Furniture Design<\/b>, dedicated to street furniture; <b>Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design<\/b>, dedicated to all the products for the table and the kitchen.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_123803\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-123803\" style=\"width: 787px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-123803\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/adesignaward-2018-Exhibition.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"787\" height=\"591\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-123803\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A&#8217;Design Award 2018, exhibition of the projects and products<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\">The international jury consists of design experts, researchers, designers, architects and professional operators, journalists and communication professionals. Thanks to its interlocking system, it can take on endless configurations, in line with one\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_123817\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-123817\" style=\"width: 689px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-123817\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/kurio-markus-hofko.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"689\" height=\"689\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-123817\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kurio, by Markus Hofko.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\">Another product awarded in the <b>Furniture, Decorative items and Homeware design<\/b> category is <b>Pig<\/b>, designed by <b>Favaretto &amp; Partners<\/b> for the Chinese company <b>Lightspace<\/b>. NikolaTesla Switch is a <b>cooktop with integrated hood <\/b>concealed by a glass and cast iron ring that disappears when not in use. Each module can accommodate three bottles and is made up of two shaped wooden pieces joined by pins; each piece can also be used as a tray for serving appetizers. The bench with high backrest provides women with shelter from prying eyes as well as a comfortable and clean surface for breastfeeding.
