The next edition of Maison & Objet<\/a> will take place in Paris from 17 to 21 January 2020<\/strong> and will be special for several reasons. First of all, it celebrates its 25th<\/sup> anniversary. After 25 years, the Paris fair faces the challenges of a world that has deeply changed, where consumers are increasingly demanding and informed.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the goal of Maison & Objet, the trade fair held in Paris twice a year, is to explore the future trends of the \u2018engaged generation\u2019<\/strong>, the youngest generation. Surrounded by climatic and economic crises, migrations, social media and the internet, it is important to understand the dreams and expectations of future consumers.<\/p>\n

The Rising Talents who will receive the Rising Talent Awards are Adrien Garcia, Julie Richoz, Laurelin Galliot, Mathieu Peyroulet Ghilini, Natacha&Sacha. Their work, as explained by the director of Ecole Camondo Ren\u00e9-Jacques Mayer, is characterized by a close connection with craftsmanship and a focus on social projects rather than the single objects.<\/p>\n

Maison & Objet – Design Award China<\/span><\/h3>\n

In January 2020, Maison & Objet<\/strong> will launch the first edition of Design Award China<\/strong>. In collaboration with distributor Chaoshang<\/strong> and Aube Events, this event will award the best examples of Chinese design in the product design<\/strong>, interior design<\/strong> and rising talents<\/strong> categories. The award is also sponsored by Beijing\u2019s Central Academy of Fine Arts<\/strong> (CAFA), China Building Decoration Association<\/strong> (CBDA) and the new Shenzhen International Art Design Center<\/strong> (IADC).<\/p>\n
