Therefore, for <a href=\"\/?p=131574\">imm cologne 2020<\/a>, <strong>Sebastian Herkner<\/strong> has designed a booth inspired by Vienna straw, with large wooden screens. These panels, made semitransparent by the holes in woven cane, delimited the different areas organized into new products, reissued classics and <strong>Caf\u00e9 Thonet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_131890\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-131890\" style=\"width: 886px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-131889 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Thonet_imm_2020_Constantin_Meyer_10.jpg\" alt=\"thonet-sedie.jpg\" width=\"886\" height=\"591\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-131890\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Caf\u00e9 Thonet at imm cologne 2020<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Thonet and contemporary chairs<\/h3>\n<p>Among the new products, <strong>520 is a new upholstered chair, designed by<\/strong> <strong>Marco Dess\u00ec<\/strong>. It is a dining chair, minimal and elegant, <strong>characterized by a curved backrest, with padded seat and backrest<\/strong>, ensuring greater comfort. The possible combinations of different materials make this chair perfect for both dining and meeting rooms. It is a contemporary version of classic Thonet chairs.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_131881\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-131881\" style=\"width: 886px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-131880 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Thonet_520_Marco_Dessi_ambient_3.jpg\" alt=\"thonet-sedie.jpg\" width=\"886\" height=\"591\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-131881\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">520 chairs by Marco Dess\u00ec for Thonet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Presented in 2018, the 118 chair family has launched a new barstool model <\/strong><strong>in 2020<\/strong>. <strong>Sebastian Herkner<\/strong> has designed a <strong>chair inspired by<\/strong> <strong>Thonet 214 <\/strong>\u2013 which has become the archetypal bistro chair \u2013 reducing its components. The frame of the 118 chair consists of a piece of bent wood, with a seat in Indian wickerwork. The first version was made with tubular steel structure and transparent glass top. Today Studio Besau Marguerre presents new versions, with black painted steel legs and tops in light ash or dark grey painted glass.
