Mattellone took the helm of his family\u2019s carpenter\u2019s shop in 1978, immediately approaching the design industry. In 1984 <strong>Mattellone carpenter\u2019s shop started providing several design brands<\/strong>, including Alias, <a href=\"\/?p=139414\">Poltrona Frau<\/a>, <a href=\"\/?p=141702\">Vitra<\/a>, <strong>Accademia<\/strong>, <strong>Tonon<\/strong>, <strong>Fornasarig<\/strong>, <strong>with semi-finished products<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Discover also <a href=\"\/?p=139195\">Rado watches by Konstantin Grcic<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_141932\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-141932\" style=\"width: 656px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-141931 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/w-eye_Nichetto.jpg\" alt=\"w-eye-occhiali-legno.jpg\" width=\"656\" height=\"984\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-141932\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">W-Eye, Luca Nichetto<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Mold after mold, <strong>in 2009, Mattellone met Matteo Ragni<\/strong>, and they decided to create a brand dedicated to wooden glasses. <strong>Matteo Ragni<\/strong>, art director of this brand, involved ten designers \u2013 <strong>Antonio De Marco<\/strong>, <strong>Odoardo Fioravanti,<\/strong> <strong>Diego Grandi, <\/strong><a href=\"\/?p=140675\">Giulio Iacchetti<\/a>, <a href=\"\/?p=140403\">JoeVelluto<\/a>, <strong>Chiara Moreschi,<\/strong> <strong>Luca Nichetto<\/strong>, <strong>Lorenzo Palmeri<\/strong>, <strong>Matteo Ragni<\/strong>, <a href=\"\/?p=140396\">Elena Salmistraro<\/a> \u2013 in the creation of the<strong> W-Eye Ten &#8211;<\/strong> <strong>Italian Design Collection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_141924\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-141924\" style=\"width: 656px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-141923 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/w-eye_Grandi.jpg\" alt=\"occhiali-legno.jpg\" width=\"656\" height=\"984\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-141924\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">W-Eye, Diego Grandi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The result consists in 10 models of eyeglasses, <strong>made of a special material made of 7 wood sheets and 2 aluminum sheets<\/strong>.
