Imagined, for uncertain times, the virtual exhibition by Soft Geometry and Spot Studio<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Although the Covid-19 emergency is not over yet, the 2020 design exhibitions have reopened their doors to visitors<\/strong>. And many of them come in a new guise. For this year, many professionals have decided to organize their exhibitions in virtual mode only. A completely new experience complying with social distancing measures for preventing Sars-Cov-2 transmission.<\/p>\n

Design exhibitions for 2020 have become interactive galleries for remote visits<\/h3>\n

Imagined, for uncertain times<\/span><\/h3>\n

California-based design practice Soft Geometry<\/strong>, in collaboration with Spanish animation studio Spot Studio<\/strong>, has created Imagined, for uncertain times<\/strong>, a virtual gallery showcasing the work of 11 design firms from 9 countries from all over the world.<\/p>\n

The concept was born in the middle of the health emergency, in a moment of fear and uncertainty, when the founders of Soft Geometry, Utharaa Zacharias and Palaash Chauhary, were in confinement in California. Together they wrote a list of designers with whom they would like to collaborate on a project that, through their work and creativity, would express thoughts and emotions in the time of Covid-19. These professionals accepted the invitation offering their support with enthusiasm and expressing with their works all their thoughts of hope and uncertainty during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

In the virtual exhibition Imagined, for uncertain times<\/strong>, the collaboration between artists from all over the world tries to compensate as much as possible for the void left by the temporary cancellation of world-class design fairs and events<\/strong> such as Salone del Mobile di Milano<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Mindcraft Project 2020<\/span><\/h3>\n

Among the not-to-be-missed design exhibitions of 2020 is the digital version of The Mindcraft Project, the exhibition dedicated to Danish design <\/strong>by Wang & S\u00f6derstr\u00f6m<\/a> presented every year during the Milan Design Week. This year, due to the Covid-19, Copenhagen-based firm Wang & S\u00f6derstr\u00f6m has decided to turn the event into a virtual show<\/strong> you can watch here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Therefore, The Mindcraft Project 2020<\/strong> has become a virtual gallery<\/strong> where you can discover the works of the 10 contemporary Danish designers and artists participating in this year\u2019s edition.
