Their projects express all the features of marble: beauty, versatility, strength, flexibility. \u201cMarble \u2013 they say \u2013 is an interesting material because it is hard but has a soft surface. However, it has a drawback, its weight, as marble is heavy and difficult to maneuver. So, it is interesting to work with marble as you might work with paper, and to leverage the most interesting aspects of the materials.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In 2019, at <a href=\"https:\/\/designdiffusion.com\/en\/2019\/09\/23\/marmomac-2019-the-italian-stone-theatre-naturality-uniqueness-and-geodiversity-of-stone\/\">Marmomac<\/a>, at the exhibition<\/strong> <strong>Lithic Garden, studio Ito presented the Stone Forest project<\/strong>. It was a marble garden with a fountain made of Bardiglio, Calacatta, Statuarietto and white Carrara marble. A blend of marble\u2019s beauty and nature, surrounded by its natural element \u2013 water \u2013 and manufactured by Errebi Marmi.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/designdiffusion.com\/en\/2020\/12\/01\/pasquale-junior-natuzzi-marble-is-strength\/\"><strong>Discover marble in furniture according to Pasquale Junior Natuzzi<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_152619\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-152619\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-152619 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/shinobuito01-1024x728-1.jpg\" alt=\"setsu shinobu ito marmomac\" width=\"1024\" height=\"728\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-152619\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Stone Forest, Marmomac 2019<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another interesting marble work by Setsu and Shinobu Ito is the Tide carpet, designed for the Carpet of Stone exhibition, at Marmomac 2015. A 2mm-thick slab of white Carrara marble was cut and decorated with a digital print. Kiri is an effective synthesis of the contrast between a warm material, such as wood, and a cold material, such as marble.
