This skyscraper is a project by Nikken Sekkei, and its<strong> fa\u00e7ade was supervised by Tadao Ando<\/strong>. The exterior looks like an austere black monolith, contrasting with the interior, rich in light and color.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_153115\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-153115\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-153115 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/w-hotel_osaka_ingresso.jpg\" alt=\"w-hotel-osaka.jpg\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-153115\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The entrance to W Hotel in Osaka<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Like every W Hotel in the world, that of Osaka suits and adapts to the spirit of the place<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.concreteamsterdam.nl\/\">Concrete Amsterdam<\/a> has drawn inspiration from the simple and traditional spirit of Japan, and its modernity, creating a brilliant and extravagant design that represents contemporary Japan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Discover the<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/designdiffusion.com\/en\/2019\/08\/08\/nendo-designs-an-office-building-in-tokyo-with-natural-air-and-light\/\">skyscraper designed by Nendo in Tokyo<\/a><\/strong><strong> with indoor garden <\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_153107\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-153107\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-153107 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/w-hotel_osaka_corridoio-ingresso.jpg\" alt=\"w-hotel-osaka.jpg\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-153107\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The tunnel at the entrance of W Hotel Osaka<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>From the main entrance on Mid\u014dsuji Boulevard a long tunnel leads to the lobby. <strong>Walls and ceiling are covered with more than 3,000 laser-cut circles folded like origami<\/strong>; the light changes in color with the four seasons and intensity, from day to night, creating a magical portal. <strong>In the lobby, the ceiling is decorated with an asanoha pattern<\/strong> &#8211; a traditional geometric pattern &#8211; reflected on the granite floor, in six dark gray shades<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_153105\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-153105\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-153105 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/w-hotel_osaka_bar.jpg\" alt=\"w-hotel-osaka.jpg\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-153105\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The bar of the WET area<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Unlike traditional hotels, the elevator of W Hotel Osaka opens directly in the bar<\/strong>, which is also the heart of the hotel&#8217;s social scene. The lobby, half indoors and half outdoors, is illuminated by a &#8220;cloud&#8221; of randomly arranged translucent acrylic lamps that emit white and neon color lights ranging from purple to pink, orange, yellow, blue, and green, similar to old neon lights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Discover the<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/en\/2018\/03\/23\/le-artist-rooms-del-park-hotel-tokyo\/\">artist rooms at the Park Hotel in Tokyo<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_153117\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-153117\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-153117 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/w-hotel_osaka_lobby.jpg\" alt=\"w-hotel-concrete-amsterdam.jpg\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-153117\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The lobby of W Hotel Osaka<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Oh l\u00e0 l\u00e0 restaurant and the WET area<\/h3>\n<p>The d\u00e9cor of the Oh l\u00e0 l\u00e0 restaurant, a French-themed bistro, is inspired by traditional copper pots and pans and typical Breton blue and white striped shirts. <strong>Guests at W Hotel can surround themselves with nature on the WET deck, in the WET bar and courtyard<\/strong>. The courtyard is an oasis with plants trailing down the walls; the pool and adjacent bar are located there. Lighting is a focal point of the interior design in each space, with neon colors alternating with &#8220;clouds&#8221; of ceiling lights resembling acrylic sculptures.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_153103\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-153103\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-153103 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/w-hotel_osaka_bar-lounge.jpg\" alt=\"w-hotel-concrete-amsterdam.jpg\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-153103\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The bar of the WET area<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Rooms and suites<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Depending on the floor, rooms and suites have different dominant colors, sakura pink or blue<\/strong>, and guests can choose between them. The rooms have an open floor plan, with different areas divided by glass shoji screens; the bed area has walnut wood flooring, while the bathrooms are clad in marble.
