Design schools will play their part with 170 projects from 48 international schools, selected by Anniina Koivu. Photo: Yunosuke Ishibashi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Sustainability at the Supersalone 2021<\/h3>\n<p>For a more sustainable Supersalone, all materials and components used for the set-up are designed to be disassembled and reused. The staging systems will be completely recycled as chipboard panels are made from 100% recycled wood and will go back into the production cycle at the end of the event. The same goes for the bricks of &#8220;The Lost Graduation Show&#8221; installation, which are all reusable; all the arenas, benches and seats will be \u201cdry\u201d mounted. Moreover, another\u00a0100 tall trees\u00a0will lead visitors into the various exhibition areas and relaxation areas. At the end of the fair, these trees will be planted in some areas of Milan.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_156329\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-156329\" style=\"width: 1536px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-156329 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/alberi-forestami.jpg\" alt=\"supersalone-2021-sostenibilit\u00e0.jpg\" width=\"1536\" height=\"1152\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-156329\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Forestami project in Milan<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Exhibitions of historic products<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Nina Bassoli, in collaboration with ADI Compasso d\u2019Oro, curates the exhibition Take Your Seat \/ Prendi posizione \u2013 Solitude and Conviviality of the Chair \/ Solitudine e convivialit\u00e0 della sedia<\/strong>. The focus of the exhibition will be 30 chairs that won the <a href=\"https:\/\/designdiffusion.com\/en\/2020\/09\/09\/all-the-winners-of-the-compasso-doro-awards-2020\/\">Compasso d\u2019Oro award<\/a> and more than 80 chairs that received the Honorable Mention. Ranged around the four Supersalone pavilions, this exhibition will tell the story of the most iconic design objects: chairs. Split into four themed sections, it also features an \u201cextra\u201d section at the ADI Design Museum \u2013 the ideal place to end or start the visit.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_156335\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-156335\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-156335 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/franco-albini.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1318\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-156335\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Luisa chair, by Franco Albini, now produced by Cassina<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Le Identit\u00e0 Golose<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">A special section in collaboration with <strong>Identit\u00e0 Golose Milano \u2013 International Gastronomic Hub will host some of the greatest Italian chefs and artisans<\/strong>, including Carlo Cracco with pastry chef Marco Pedron, Massimo Bottura with the workshop Il Tortellante, Michelin-starred chefs Cristina Bowerman and Matias Perdomo.
