Design Shanghai 2021, from 3 to 6 June 2021, welcomed over 70,000 professional visitors, including designers, architects, retailers, realtors and interior designers, to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center and more than 400 exhibitors from over 30 countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Discover<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/designdiffusion.com\/en\/2020\/11\/24\/design-shanghai-is-back-26-29-november-2020\/\">Design Shanghai 2020<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-158551 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/design-shanghai-1.jpg\" alt=\"design-shanghai-2021.jpg\" width=\"998\" height=\"665\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Many of the world&#8217;s leading exponents in design and architecture chose <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designshanghai.com\/design-shanghai\">Design Shanghai<\/a> to present their products in China. The hall dedicated to contemporary design accommodated brands such as Ligne Roset, Roche Bobois, Rolf Benz, Herman Miller, USM, Flos, and quintessential British lighting brand Anglepoise. Carl Hansen &amp; S\u00f8n celebrated over 70 years of collaboration with Hans J. Wegner; other brands arrived from Denmark, including HAY, Verpan, YBJY, &amp;tradition.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_158568\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-158568\" style=\"width: 1170px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-158568 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/design-shanghai-herman-miller.jpg\" alt=\"design-shanghai-2021.jpg\" width=\"1170\" height=\"779\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-158568\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Herman Miller&#8217;s stand<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>The launches in the Kitchens &amp; Bathrooms section involved Laufen, Barber &amp; Osgerby for Axor, Villeroy &amp; Boch, ASKO and Aritco<\/strong>. Key exhibitors included globally recognized design studios such as Stellar Works, Boking, PUSU, 2-LA, Sun At Six, UFOU, Studio Monana and THESHAW. The Collectible Design Hall hosted China\u2019s first exhibition space dedicated to the Memphis Group, YA SPACE. Stellar Works revealed their latest collaboration with Sebastian Herkner, while U+, a Chinese company debuting in the international design market, launched its Shan Qiu Zhi Ge Sofa Collection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Discover the<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/designdiffusion.com\/en\/2021\/02\/10\/design-and-furniture-trade-shows-the-new-2020-2021-calendar\/\">calendar of design and furniture fairs for 2021\/2022<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_158555\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-158555\" style=\"width: 997px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-158555 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/design-shanghai-3.jpg\" alt=\"shanghai-design-2021.jpg\" width=\"997\" height=\"665\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-158555\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The stand of Chinese company Yang House<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Chen Min<\/strong>, industrial designer and expert judge from Loewe Foundation, <strong>curated Neooold, an exhibition of 12 pioneering designers, craftsmen and artists pairing traditional artisanal craft techniques with contemporary design<\/strong>. Frank Chou, Founder of Frank Chou Design Studio, returned to curate the TALENTS section for the second year. Spanning design disciplines from across the world, the world\u2019s most influential speakers explored the cultural shift towards regenerative design as an urgent response to social and environmental needs.
