The ADI Design Index 2021 has been presented in Milan<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The second step on the path leading to the Compasso d\u2019Oro 2022<\/a> is represented by the ADI Design Index 2021<\/strong>. Over 200 products and services, divided into 10 categories, summarize the design period 2020\/2021. The selection is the phase that precedes the assignment of the Compasso d’Oro<\/a>, the historic Italian design award.<\/p>\n

The ADI Design Index 2021 exhibition is at the <\/strong>ADI Design Museum<\/a><\/strong>, until 7 November<\/strong><\/p>\n

Borghi, designed by Gumdesign, is a washbasin consisting of a Cristalmood basin and a cork base<\/strong>. A really unconventional choice where one material is highly technological and the other completely natural. However, both of them are sustainable. Cork is a 100% recyclable material, lightweight, flexible and resistant; Cristalmood is a nontoxic, resistant, recyclable resin patented by Antoniolupi.<\/p>\n

Combine Evolution, by Piero Lissoni for Boffi<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the kitchen, <\/strong>Combine Evolution by Boffi<\/strong> has been mentioned. Designed by<\/strong> Piero Lissoni<\/strong>, this kitchen is back with a new version, available in new sizes and finishes. The two monoblocks, the technical one with washing and cooking areas, and the one dedicated to food preparation, are connected by an open metal structure and a snack table, linking the various parts of the kitchen. An equipped channel, recessed in the worktops, can contain all the necessary accessories: cutlery holder, knife holder, spice holder, oil bottle, specific sets, retractable power sockets. It can be configured to meet one\u2019s needs and is equipped with sliding covers.<\/p>\n

Belt is an architectural lighting system consisting of rigid linear elements that conceal LED bars<\/strong>. Natural leather belts act both as power cables and suspension elements; they are adjustable in height, just like belts, thanks to metal buckles. Flexibility is the soul of this collection, which combines the softness of fine crafted leather with the rigidity of aluminum. The fluid lines of Belt are available in different lengths and sizes, for a wide variety of interior spaces.<\/p>\n

An armchair inspired by the leather armchairs of last century\u2019s the clubs that reinterprets a design archetype in a contemporary key. Sipario by Nardi is a sustainable partition system for outdoor use that designs a modular grid that contains planters. All components are made of post-consumer regenerated plastic, and are easily hooked together without screws or tools, for later recycling.<\/p>\n

Among the various furnishing elements, now the radiator occupies a relevant place. Tessuto by<\/strong> Cordivari Design<\/strong> is composed of elements assembled in series, decorated on the surface with deliberately asymmetrical artificial wefts and warps. The aluminum elements make it possible to create ever-changing rhythms and patterns on the surface, suitable to different interior design styles.<\/p>\n
