On November 14 and 15, the Jacob Javits Center<\/strong>, after hosting an emergency hospital and a vaccine center, will return to its original purpose and simultaneously host <a href=\"https:\/\/designdiffusion.com\/en\/2019\/04\/23\/icff-new-york-design-north-america\/\">ICFF 2021<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/en\/2018\/04\/24\/wanteddesign-manhattan-brooklyn\/\">WantedDesign<\/a>, and, exceptionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/bdny.com\">BDNY<\/a>, the exhibition dedicated to boutique hotels. Founded in New York City in 2011 by Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, WantedDesign is a platform to promote American design, which has been recently acquired by the company that organizes ICFF.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the 2021 edition of the three fairs, the halls of the Jacob Javits Center will host over 300 exhibitors<\/strong> from 25 countries and an audience of more than 10,000 architects, interior designers, retailers and communication operators. The spotlight of the 2021 edition will be on sustainability.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_137044\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-137044\" style=\"width: 787px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-137044 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/ICFF_javits-1.jpg\" alt=\"icff-wanteddesign-new-york.jpg\" width=\"787\" height=\"590\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-137044\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">ICFF 2018<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Special events by ICFF and WantedDesign<\/h3>\n<p>ICFF continues its partnership with Bernhardt Design to promote emerging talents through the ICFF Studio competition. For 15 years a jury of industry experts has selected the best works to display at ICFF. The participants in this edition are <strong>Jos\u00e9 Bared, Conor Coghlan and Joel Rojastre, three winning designers from 2020 who were unable to exhibit as the fair was cancelled<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A special refreshment area is Oasis, by Float Studio. Its design is simple and mimics natural landscapes; it is a cozy environment that has plenty of seating, phone charging stations and headphones for meditation.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_158344\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-158344\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-158344 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/REFIN_Cortina_Honey_25x150_Chalet_Honey_25x75_amb01.jpg\" alt=\"icff-wanteddesign-new-york.jpg\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-158344\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ceramiche Refin exhibits at ICFF 2021<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lastly, <strong>ICFF and WantedDesign offer a rich program of talks, finally in person<\/strong>. Guests include French agency Peclers Paris, outlining trends for 2023; designer Dror Benshetrit, sharing his vision of Dror&#8217;s Supernature Labs about finding new ways to immerse oneself in nature; NKBA, exploring the luxury kitchen industry; other topics will be the influence of social media on interior design, and trends in luxury interiors.<\/p>\n<h3>NYCxDesign<\/h3>\n<p><strong>ICFF and WantedDesign are part of NYCxDesign, New York&#8217;s design week, November 11-18<\/strong>.
