From September 21 to 24, 2022, Design London, London’s design exhibition, returns for the second time to North Greenwich<\/h2>\n

Design London<\/a>, the new version of 100% Design that debuted in 2021<\/strong> after skipping 2020 due to the pandemic, returns to North Greenwich with its second edition, September 21-24, 2022<\/strong>. The trade show, the main event of the London Design Festival, is held in Magazine London; the complex, on the banks of the Thames, is in the new design district, Greenwich Peninsula. In 2022, the fair doubles its area compared to 2021, an edition that attracted more than 12.000 visitors. The exhibition brings together an exciting array of established and emerging design brands from all over the world. They range from globally known manufacturers, such as HAY, Zeitraum, Wewood and Ago, which debut at the fair, to established exhibitors, such as Artemide, Christian Watson, Van Rossum, Bert Plantagie and Penta Light, to name a few.<\/p>\n

Discover Design London 2021<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"design<\/p>\n

Besides the many products on display, attendees of Design London 2022 will have the opportunity to visit several international pavilions. Among the international collective, we can name Denmark, South Korea, Portugal, and Thailand.<\/strong> Moreover, the fair welcomes the second edition of Discussions at Design London, the conference program including professional talks and panel discussions with a range of industry experts and influencers. Brand consultant Katie Richardson returns to curate the series, which runs daily throughout the fair.<\/p>\n

\"design<\/h3>\n

Furniture at Design London<\/h3>\n

Contract furniture is still a key attraction for visitors to Design London<\/strong>, which welcomes some of Europe’s most exciting furniture brands. HAY will participate for the first time with its expanded outdoor furniture collection Palissade, by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec; Italian urban furniture company Urbantime will present its Octopus and Amalfi collections, designed by Basaglia + Rota Nodari. Miami-based Tuuci will bring its Ocean Master MAX sunshades to the fair. British designer Christian Watson, a name on the rise, returns to Design London with the launch of his new collection, Abinger. Handcrafted in London, Abinger is a limited-edition collection of chairs that combines essential metal frames with burnt natural cork, wool and boucl\u00e9 wool seating.<\/strong> From Italy, Concept joins forces with world-renowned Giussano-based leather manufacturer Lealpell.<\/p>\n

\"design<\/h3>\n

Lighting, surfaces and architectural elements<\/h3>\n

The lighting sector is also home to prominent brands, such as Artemide, Fabbian, Penta Light, and Ago Lighting<\/strong>. Among surfaces and coatings, we can mention Parador, a German brand that has been working with some of the best names in the industry for more than 40 years. Founded in the United States in 1970, Aristech Surfaces will bring its 100 percent acrylic solid surface AVONITE to the fair, along with its architectural resin STUDIO Collection. While New Terracotta, a Portuguese manufacturer of handmade tiles, will exhibit its latest collections that combine ancient techniques and contemporary style, Lazenby Decorative Concrete will showcase the different applications of its material. For the bathroom sector, the presence of Kohler, which celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2023, is confirmed.<\/p>\n

At the show, there are also on display some elevators from the Swedish brand Aritco, with walls created by designer Alexander Lervik and artist Evelina Kroon. Finally, accessories such as handles, or elements of architecture, such as doors and windows, will be also on show.<\/p>\n
