\"Design<\/p>\n

From September 26 to 28, 2022, <\/strong>Design China Beijing<\/a><\/strong> presents the Sustainable Design China Summit<\/strong>. This big event, to be held at the China World Summit Wing Hotel in Beijing, will include a busy program of meetings and installations aimed at discovering, analyzing, and promoting sustainable design worldwide.<\/p>\n

The Sustainable Design China Summit 2022 will focus on green architecture, new recycling possibilities, and net-zero design<\/strong>. New innovative materials and ground-breaking examples of circular economy will be presented. Over 70 distinguished figures from the world of design will participate in the event along with more than 1,000 leading professionals in the fields of urban planning, environmental protection, architecture, as well as fashion and consumer goods.<\/p>\n

Summit participants<\/h3>\n

Guests will include Robert Greenwood, Partner and Managing Director for Asia, Sn\u00f8hetta<\/strong>; architect Stefano Boeri, founder of Stefano Boeri Architetti<\/strong>; Lin Fengjian, CEO for the North Asia region, Shengyu Group<\/strong>, urban development and operation management consulting firm; Allan Zhang, CEO of Rui’an Xintiandi Commercial Management Company<\/strong>, a leading sustainable commercial property investor and manager in China; Rao Hong, Chief Planner at ARUP China<\/strong>, a world-renowned engineering consulting firm; Lou Yongqi, Vice President of Tongji University<\/strong> and member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The six core themes of the Sustainable Design China Summit<\/h3>\n

The main themes of the event will be Designing a Sustainable World, Circular Design Thinking, Climate Changes Everything, On the Path to Net Zero, Nature By Design, Building Sustainability & Green Design<\/strong>. Therefore, the Summit invites us to reflect on current and future environmental challenges and find innovative solutions to address the negative impacts of climate change.<\/p>\n

In fact, creating new urban landscapes requires a full integration between architecture, natural landscape, urban planning, policy and culture. Only in this way,\u00a0the cities and communities of the future will be able to meet all the needs of current and future generations, while protecting the environment and promoting regenerative cycles.<\/p>\n
