The goal of these conferences is to show the role and the importance of women in contemporary architecture.<\/p>\n<p>The first eight meetings were held in <strong>October 2020 (Swiss and Finnish examples), February 2021 (British and Danish examples), November 2021 (Spanish and Chilean examples) and in March 2022 (Austrian and Canadian examples)<\/strong>. The speakers will present their approach and their design philosophy in contemporary architecture with respect to environmental sustainability, circular economy, technological innovation, renovation of historical buildings, urban redevelopment, the relationship with the territory.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_167874\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-167874\" style=\"width: 591px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-167874 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Barcode-Architects_CasaNova_01-\u00a9Hans-Wilschut-2.jpg\" alt=\"architettura olandese\" width=\"591\" height=\"443\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-167874\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">BARCODE Architects, CasaNova. Ph: Hans Wilschut<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The conference will start with welcome remarks by <strong>Bianca Miglietta<\/strong>, Councilor of the Order and Foundation of the Order of Architects of the Province of Milan, and <strong>Mascha Baak<\/strong>, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Milan. Then, the floor will be given to <strong>Caro van de Venne<\/strong><strong>, BARCODE Architects<\/strong> (Rotterdam), and <strong>Lisa van der Slot, <\/strong><strong>De Zwarte Hond<\/strong> (Rotterdam). <strong>Caro van de Venne<\/strong> will illustrate some projects in the Netherlands, focusing on the city of the future, the place where it\u2019s possible to connect the different segments of our cultural society.
