L&L Luce&Light illuminates the spaces of the Munch Museum in Oslo, dedicated to famous Norwegian artist Edvard Munch<\/h2>\n

\"Luce<\/p>\n

L&L Luce & Light<\/a> illuminates the spaces of the Munch Museum in Oslo<\/strong>, a project resulting from a collaboration between Estudio Herreros and LPO Arkitektere. The 13-story building hosts Norwegian artist Edvard Munch\u2019s works including 1,100 paintings, 4,500 drawings and watercolors, 18,000 graphics, and 6,000 books. Considered as one of the world\u2019s largest museums dedicated to a single artist,\u00a0the Munch Museum in Oslo covers a total surface area of 260,000 sqm.<\/p>\n

The Munch Museum, a sustainable building<\/h3>\n

The building consists of a low body and a 60-meter-high tower clad in corrugated panels of perforated recycled aluminum, offering varying degrees of transparency. Inside, in addition to the famous artist’s works, are restaurants, bars, exhibition halls, and commercial and cultural spaces of all kinds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Oslo\u2019s Munch Museum is a sustainable<\/strong> building. The fa\u00e7ade screens and reflects the sun’s rays, ensuring a stable and comfortable temperature in the exhibition rooms both in winter and summer. Moreover, the complex\u2019s emissions are less than half that of other similar structures.<\/p>\n

L&L Luce & Light\u2019s project<\/h3>\n

The lighting design concept<\/strong> of the museum features luminaires from L&L Luce&Light<\/strong>, an Italian company specializing in the design and production of architectural lighting systems relying on LED technology. Three models have been used to illuminate the museum’s interior and exterior spaces. SNACK 1.3 <\/strong>36W fixtures, with 10\u00b0 narrow optics, 4000K, in the special black finish, fixed to the ceiling in a continuous line, make the rooms bright and enhance their verticality.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the terraces feature LITUS 1.6 outdoor recessed fixtures<\/strong>, 2.5W, 4000K, with diffuse optics, and RIVER WALL 2.0 linear profiles<\/strong>, 40W, 4000K, with 10\u00b0x40\u00b0 elliptical optics and brackets, in a custom version with a gray finish, lighting the terrace access areas from above.<\/p>\n
