The new collection, designed by Daniel Germani, includes three kinds of surfaces inspired by Vicenza stone, Travertine and Ceppo di Gr\u00e8.<\/p>\n<h3>Dekton Pietra Kode slabs by Cosentino<\/h3>\n<p>Dekton Pietra Kode slabs are composed of a sophisticated blend of glass, porcelain materials and quartz. They have high mechanical resistance to chemicals, ultraviolet rays and extreme temperatures. They are also water-repellent and easy to maintain. This new surface is therefore suitable for many indoor and outdoor applications.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_171774\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-171774\" style=\"width: 1100px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-171774\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image1.jpg\" alt=\"Gruppo Cosentino\" width=\"1100\" height=\"918\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-171774\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Travertine Kode<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Let&#8217;s Design Contest<\/h3>\n<p>Cosentino&#8217;s contest, now in its second year, invites designers from around the world to submit a project in of the following categories: Contract (office, retail and culture), Ho.Re.Ca (hotels, restaurants and bars), Yachting (motor and sailing yachts) and Wellness (B2B and B2C Spas and Fitness).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Antonio Citterio<\/strong>, architect and president of architecture and interior design practice <a href=\"https:\/\/acpvarchitects.com\/\">ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel<\/a>, will be this edition\u2019s <strong>impartial<\/strong><strong> judge<\/strong>. Citterio will choose which projects will be admitted to the competition and judge the 12 finalist projects, 3 in each category, thus contributing to determining the 4 winners.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, as the<strong> President of the Jury,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Daniel Germani,<\/strong> designer of the Pietra Kode collection, will evaluate the technical feasibility of the submitted projects.<\/p>\n<p>The vote of the jurors will be joined by that of Antonio Citterio and the popular jury, composed of visitors, showroom customers and people following the brand on social media.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_171776\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-171776\" style=\"width: 1100px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-171776\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designdiffusion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image0-1.jpg\" alt=\"Gruppo Cosentino\" width=\"1100\" height=\"918\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-171776\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vicenza Kode<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Timeline and phases of the contest<\/h3>\n<p>Those interested should register for the competition no later than April 16, 2023. Participants should fill out the application form available <a href=\"http:\/\/designopenspaces.eu\/lets-design-23\/\">here<\/a> by selecting the category for their project. Applicants should, in addition, submit a portfolio attesting to their professional expertise and their project by June 12. The jury will announce three finalists in each category by July 20, 2023. The 12 finalist projects will come to life in augmented reality to enable the final round of voting. Lastly, at Milan Design Week 2024, Cosentino will showcase the prototypes of the four winning projects.
