From November 6 to 9, 2024, Downtown Design returns, the fair dedicated to high-quality design and a meeting point for the creative community of Dubai and beyond.<\/h2>\n\n

Downtown Design, the leading event for contemporary design in the region, returns from November 6 to 9, 2024<\/strong>, at the d3 Waterfront Terrace in the Dubai Design District. An integral part of Dubai Design Week<\/strong>, this annual fair serves as an important platform<\/strong> for professionals and enthusiasts in the industry, showcasing a wide range of exhibitions that highlight established brands and emerging talents from around the globe. <\/p>\n\n

A Rich and Inspiring Program<\/h3>\n\n

Downtown Design 2024 promises to impress with a selection of over 200 international brands<\/strong>. Notable participants include prominent names such as Audo Copenhagen<\/strong>, which will showcase alongside ferm LIVING<\/strong>, and Haberdashery<\/strong>, making its regional debut with a custom installation titled \u201cSand & Sea.\u201d Kartell<\/strong> will present its latest collections of industrial and contemporary design, while Poltrona Frau<\/strong> will display its timeless designs in collaboration with renowned designers like Faye Toogood and Sebastian Herkner. <\/p>\n\n

Innovation and Sustainability<\/h3>\n\n

One of the highlights this year will be the online launch of The Conran Shop<\/a><\/strong> in the United Arab Emirates, presented by Dhow Architectural Solutions Group. Hands Carpets <\/strong> will unveil its first collection in collaboration with industrial designer Nika Zupanc<\/strong>. Meanwhile, Cosentino<\/strong> will showcase an innovative design project created by the Kuwaiti studio Babnimnim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Focus on National Pavilions<\/h3>\n\n

The event will also feature significant national pavilions, including the one from the Italian Trade Agency<\/strong>, showcasing over 40 brands that celebrate Italian innovation and craftsmanship. The Saudi Design Commission<\/strong> will present its “Designed in Saudi” project, highlighting nine design studios, while “Interiors from Spain”<\/strong> will showcase a curated selection of 10 brands, designed by the Dubai-based studio B8 Architecture & Design. <\/p>\n\n

Editions Art & Design: A Unique Initiative at Downtown Dubai 2024<\/h3>\n\n

This space, which complements the main fair, will showcase over 50 galleries and design studios, offering a wide range of contemporary artworks, photography, and ceramics. <\/p>\n\n

Finally, The Forum, as in every year, will bring together a selection of designers and industry leaders to discuss relevant topics and share innovative ideas. Architect and designer India Mahdavi<\/strong> will kick off the series of talks with a reflection on multicultural design and the blending of identities in contemporary spaces. <\/p>\n\n
