Her primary role will be to curate the 61st International Art Exhibition in 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is Koyo Kouoh?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally from Cameroon and Switzerland, Koyo Kouoh is a prominent figure in contemporary art. Since 2019, she has led the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) in Cape Town, South Africa, serving as both Executive Director and Chief Curator. Founder of RAW Material Company in Dakar, Kouoh has collaborated with documenta 12 (2007) and 13 (2012), two of the world\u2019s most influential art events.
