Salone del Mobile 2025: Robert Wilson unveils an unprecedented cultural program featuring site-specific installations, the debut of Euroluce Forum, and the new “Thought for Humans” campaign<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano will open with Mother<\/strong>, a \u201ctotal work of art\u201d by Robert Wilson inspired by Michelangelo’s Piet\u00e0 Rondanini<\/strong>. Set at the Piet\u00e0 Rondanini Museum within the Sforza Castle, the installation will interact with Arvo P\u00e4rt’s Stabat Mater<\/strong>, creating a unique multisensory experience. Wilson, a master of light, reimagines Michelangelo’s masterpiece as a tribute to Milan and its artistic heritage, positioning the event within Milan Art Week<\/strong>, the prelude to Design Week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
