On the occasion of the recently concluded Milan Design Week, the Italian brand presented “GLOW”\u2014an emotional journey through architecture, design, and transparency<\/h2>\n\n

Light is not merely a functional element; it is a language capable of transforming space and architecture. Among the protagonists who left their mark at the latest Milan Design Week, QU <\/strong>stood out in the heart of Brera, staging a luminous vision that enchanted the international Fuorisalone audience <\/p>\n\n

With a captivating setup at Via Cernaia 7, within the secret garden of a classic bourgeois palazzo, QU presented its fifth exhibition chapter. The installation seamlessly blended high-end glass craftsmanship with the brand’s most advanced LED technology. <\/p>\n\n

GLOW \u2013 Light in Transparency: A Sensory Journey<\/h3>\n\n

The concept behind the exhibition, titled GLOW \u2013 Light in Transparency<\/em>, was born from the established synergy between the Ravenna-based company and Art Director Aldo Parisotto (of Parisotto+Formenton Architetti). The exhibition path wound through a hidden courtyard, an indoor lounge, and a glass greenhouse, creating a continuous dialogue between domestic intimacy and nature. <\/p>\n\n

The absolute protagonist of the space was glass. This ancient material met QU’s technical precision, enriching the brand’s catalog with sophisticated transparencies, ribbed textures, and organic shapes designed to diffuse light in a soft, layered manner. <\/p>\n\n

At the entrance, visitors were welcomed by an oasis of peace: a minimalist landscape of stone outdoor totems and a large wooden deck surrounding a centuries-old magnolia tree, inviting them to slow down and connect with the surroundings.<\/p>\n\n

In the evocative garden setting, KIMADO<\/strong> made its debut\u2014an outdoor lighting system crafted from solid-machined aluminum. The uniqueness of this collection lies in the concept of “visual transparency”: a void within the lamp body lightens the totem’s volume, transforming the empty space into an active design element where light itself becomes architecture. Available in Suspension, Bollard, Post, and Wall<\/em> versions, KIMADO modulates up to three light sources. <\/p>\n\n

This year, the historic technical collection evolved with a decorative twist, introducing hand-blown glass diffusers. The new range includes transparent ribbed glass cylinders, teardrop shapes in three heights, and complex double oblique cylinders that overlap frosted and transparent surfaces. <\/p>\n\n
