DDN presents Architecture Tour Italia, the initiative that rewards the encounter between tradition and innovation in Italian architecture
‘Tradition and innovation in architecture’ is the theme of Architecture Tour Italia, the initiative promoted and organized by Design Diffusion World, publishing house, in collaboration with architect Arianna Callocchia. Its goal is to offer an up-to-date picture of restoration, requalification, renovation and interior design projects of both private and public buildings by Italian architects who are members of the professional associations that take part in the initiative. With the aim of highlighting a selection of Italian projects that dialogue with the historical heritage using a contemporary language made of innovative technologies, sustainable materials and avant-garde design.
The cities
Following the opening event in Florence during Premio Architettura Toscana on May 30th, Architecture Tour Italia will reach other five Italian cities:

All the architects who are members of the professional associations of the cities involved in the initiative will be able to present their best projects, highlighting the talent of Italian architects and illustrating the architectural scene of some Italian cities.
Winners
The winners of the contests taking place in Naples, Trieste, Bari and Palermo will receive two volumes, Leonardo – Il codice sul Volo and Leonardo – Disegni e Pitture, published by Istituto Treccani to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Leonardo’s death and the importance of the Italian genius in the creation of the small and big works that Italy needs so much.
In Milan the new graduates will participate in the draw for the two volumes published by Treccani.
