Architect Michele Perlini renovates the Hotel Terme Neroniane Spa Resort with five new suites where comfort and nature coexist in perfect harmony
The Hotel Terme Neroniane Spa Resort, located in Montegrotto Terme (Padua) within the largest thermal area in Europe, has recently reopened its doors following an innovative renovation by architect Michele Perlini. In line with the official candidacy of the Euganean Hills Park for the UNESCO MAB program, the project embraces principles of sustainability and biophilia, creating spaces that enhance the harmony between people and nature.
A new concept of hospitality
In recent years, the Hotel Terme Neroniane Spa Resort has undergone various interventions aimed at enhancing the wellness services offered to its guests. The latest project involved the expansion of the structure with five panoramic suites, positioning it among the most innovative hotels in Montegrotto Terme. These suites represent a new concept of hospitality that combines sustainability and health, offering highly qualified medical care in a natural setting.
Biophilia and Sustainability: a natural union
Michele Perlini integrated the principles of biophilia into the project, creating environments that enhance psychophysical well-being through interaction with natural elements. The new suites, featuring large windows, flood the spaces with natural light and offer panoramic views of the surrounding vegetation. The Mediterranean-style indoor gardens, enriched with aromatic plants and native flowers, create an oasis of visual and olfactory serenity.
Responsible Design and Sustainable Comfort
The interior design of the suites is based on natural materials and soft tones, typical of Perlini’s style. The use of stone, wood, clay, and glass, sourced from sustainable origins, is not only an aesthetic choice but also reflects a commitment to environmental responsibility. These materials, combined with a design focused on durability, ensure that the suites are not only beautiful but also eco-friendly.
Green …Technologies
The project also stands out for the integration of sustainable technologies. The suites are equipped with energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, as well as smart energy control devices, reducing the ecological footprint of the structure. The water vapor fireplace, in addition to creating a multisensory experience, serves as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional heating systems.
Hotel Terme Neroniane: a virtuous model of hospitality
Michele Perlini’s intervention at the Hotel Terme Neroniane Spa Resort represents a virtuous model of how architectural design can combine luxury, sustainability, and biophilia. Here, guests are invited to experience an immersive stay, where the connection with nature and attention to the environment are at the heart of every detail, promoting a new vision of well-being and tourism.
