Wuhan Ski Resort: the new paradigm of winter entertainment

CLOU architects designs Wuhan Ski Resort, an innovative complex that combines snow sports, entertainment, and retail

Designed by CLOU architects, Wuhan Ski Resort is an innovative complex featuring multi-level three-dimensional pixel facades, combining entertainment, sports, and retail around a central lake.

Located in the Huangpi district, near the ancient village of Mulan, the resort stands out for its combination of cutting-edge sports facilities, hotels, shops, theme parks, and other amenities, including ski schools and sports clubs. With a 500-meter indoor ski slope, Wuhan Ski Resort offers a unique 24-hour leisure experience, promoting snow sports year-round.

A new frontier for indoor winter sports

The complex offers three distinct leisure experiences through three different building typologies, unified by an integrated design language. With its 500-meter-long and 100-meter-high indoor ski slope, the resort sets a new frontier for indoor winter sports.

Indoor snow adventures are complemented by a vast outdoor landscape, as well as a variety of commercial spaces, both indoor and outdoor. Additionally, a modular façade system unites all the elements of the complex, decomposing and reorganizing them through innovative synergies.
