On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, the Padua-based company opens the doors to its new exhibition space in Porta Venezia, where fine cabinet-making meets bespoke design
Milan reaffirms its status as the premier stage for Made in Italy excellence. On April 21, 2026, coinciding with the start of Fuorisalone, L’Ottocento will officially inaugurate its first Flagship Store in Milan. Located at Viale Piave 4, the space is set within a prestigious historic building in the beating heart of Porta Venezia.
Spanning 200 square meters across two levels, the new showroom was designed by the Russo Sgarbossa studio to be much more than a simple display area: it is a meeting hub where architects and visitors can immerse themselves in the philosophy of “The Gentle Home” (La Casa Gentile).

Authenticity and Master Cabinet-Making in the Heart of Porta Venezia
The identity of the new Milan Flagship Store is defined by fine wood, the absolute protagonist of L’Ottocento collections. From the five large street-facing windows down to the lower level, the environment envelops guests in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The concept revolves around transparency and quality: a dedicated materials library allows visitors to experience firsthand the wood species, raw components, and sectioned structures, revealing the secrets of durable manufacturing. Here, conscious design places the person back at the center, promoting a sense of domestic well-being that starts in the kitchen and extends throughout the entire home.

The Collections: Between Icons and Technological Innovation
The exhibition path showcases the brand’s artisanal mastery through iconic compositions and cutting-edge solutions:
- Levante with Etesia, and Atlante with the Virtus island: Two imposing kitchen systems that combine wooden wall panels (boiserie) and sculptural marble islands, redefining contemporary conviviality.
- Floral Collection: Located in the lower level, this classic-inspired proposal demonstrates the brand’s ability to “dress” spaces in a completely tailored manner.
- Synergies of Excellence: Visual well-being meets sensory pleasure thanks to an exclusive collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, featuring a high-end audio system integrated directly into the architecture of the Atlante living room furniture.

International Partners for Uncompromising Quality
The technical prestige of the space is elevated by the presence of world-class partners. The appliances bear the names of Gaggenau, Neff, and Ilve, while the tapware is entrusted to Nobili. The setup is completed by Rubelli fabrics in the meeting room and Irinox preservation technologies, confirming an international vocation that today sees L’Ottocento present in over 50 countries.
