DDN HUB 2026 lights up Piazza Città di Lombardia: from April 20 to 26, an immersive oasis of signature design, art, and global visions

In the glowing wake of the Olympics, the heart of the Region is beating strong once more: the square is preparing to host DDN HUB 2026, the meeting point where design stops being an object to look at and becomes an experience to breathe.
From April 20 to 26 (10:00 AM – 11:00 PM), the Oasi Life Experience event transforms the urban space into an open organism. Don’t expect the usual exhibition: here, design “happens” amidst porous architecture and atmospheres that blend Milanese luxury with authentic conviviality.
Greenhouse Michelangelo: Where Thought Becomes Light
The nerve center of the event is the Greenhouse Michelangelo, a contemporary cathedral of light (an urban orangerie) that will host a packed schedule of talks from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Internationally renowned architects and designers will take turns questioning the meaning of future living.
But the true “place to be” at DDN HUB 2026 will be the DDN GALA – The Red Carpet of Design. On Thursday, April 23, excellence and networking will come together for an invitation-only collective ritual, celebrating the best of global creativity under the Milanese spotlight.
A Loft Suspended Between Water, Fire, and… Cannavacciuolo
The installation, curated by Letizia Fontanelli with artistic direction by Adriana Lohmann, transforms the square into a vibrant ecosystem. Natural elements rule the space:
- Water: Taking center stage through the technological transparency of Bio.Design mini-pools, Disenia whirlpools, Ama Luxury Shower systems, and Cordivari radiator designs.
- Fire and Wood: Oriental atmospheres warmed by the exquisite woods of Riva 1920 and coral lanterns.
- Taste: Tying everything together is the convivial touch of Il Banco di Antonino Cannavacciuolo, enriched by Cultifutura mini-greenhouses that transform flavor into a narrative.
The Four Trajectories of DDN HUB 2026
The journey through the district unfolds across four fundamental themes:
- The Infinite: Marked by the iconic red sofa from Plust Collection and symbols of rebirth.
- The Outdoor Oasis: A dive into greenery among olive trees, Sherwin-Williams colors, and furnishings from Livintwist and Zebrano Outdoor.
- Artisan Excellence: From the splendor of Signoretti Murano glass to the transparent bubble structures by La Bolla Design that house corners of pure relaxation.
- Play: Pop installations by VerdeVip, food trucks, showcooking, and children’s workshops curated by Hotpoint Ariston.
There will also be a tribute to history: outside the arena, you can admire iconic Munari pieces (from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s) thanks to the collaboration with Cantù Città del Mobile, alongside high-tech kitchens by Fògher.
