Dal 21 al 24 ottobre 2024 si terrà Hotel, la fiera internazionale per hôtellerie e ristorazione con talk ed eventi tematici sul turismo sostenibile
The 48th edition of Hotel, the Bolzano trade fair dedicated to quality hospitality and catering, which has always been a benchmark for innovation and new inspirations in the sector, will be held from October 21 to 24, 2024. In particular, this edition will provide a full picture of sustainable architecture for tourism. Among this year’s new features dedicated to industry professionals are the Tours, two days dedicated to visiting South Tyrol’s most virtuous facilities.
Tours, the program at Hotel 2024
The Tours program offers two days outside the fair to visit the best examples of sustainable architecture in Trentino-Alto Adige, exploring themes such as the connection between guests and residents, sustainability and the discovery of places full of contrasts.
Tour 1, scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, will take participants to visit Hotel Weißes Kreuz and Tenuta zum Löwen in Burgusio, Val Venosta, both designed and curated by architects Stefan Marx and Elke Ladurner. They will also visit Villa Arnica and 1477 Reichhalter, designed by architect Zeno Bampi and interior design firm Biquadra. Three destinations united by a desire to overcome differences and distances through innovative projects that build bridges between guests and residents, enhancing the local context and adding significant value for the community.
On Wednesday, October 23, Tours 2 and 3 will include a visit to the Casa al Sole in Ortisei, Val Gardena, by architects Thomas Mahlknecht and Igor Comploj, and to Hotel Adler in Villabassa, Val Pusteria, led by surveyor Günther Bachmann of Studio Raumwerk. These tours will show renovations that were able to preserve the original characteristics of the buildings, amid contrasts, tradition and uniqueness.
Participation in the Tours is fee-based and includes transportation, guided tour and information material. The tour will be conducted in Italian. The full program and tickets are available at this link.
Hotel Sustainability Award: applications open until September 15
È ancora possibile, inoltre, candidarsi al premio per la sostenibilità alberghiera che riconoscerà le soluzioni e le strutture più meritevoli in termini di sostenibilità e ricerca e sviluppo. Tra le categorie, spicca quella dei “Sustainable Tourism Pioneers”, dedicata agli imprenditori più visionari del settore turistico e alberghiero. Quest’anno la categoria sarà suddivisa in due sezioni: “360°”, rivolta a hotel, pensioni, agriturismi, chalet, bar, rifugi alpini e B&B già certificati per le loro pratiche ambientali. E “Better Together”, destinata alle strutture che hanno avviato collaborazioni con partner per avvicinarsi maggiormente alla sostenibilità.
