From the original theme KEEP IT REAL to the eight new Design Districts, the Danish fair celebrates authenticity, human connections, and global design visions
With the theme KEEP IT REAL, the 2025 edition of 3daysofdesign invites designers, brands, and design lovers to explore what it means to be authentic in today’s complex and fluid world. From June 18 to 20, 2025, Copenhagen transforms once again into a creative hub with a new layout of eight thematic Design Districts, dedicated installations, and the introduction of Design Ambassadors, who will guide visitors through an immersive and meaningful experience.

“We live in a transient world where the future is very present,” says Signe Byrdal Terenziani, Managing Director of 3daysofdesign. “With KEEP IT REAL we want to celebrate individuality, inclusion, and the power of real design — caring for people and the planet.”
The visual identity of the 2025 edition was created by Swedish artist Andreas Samuelsson, known for his poetic minimalism and collaborations with major brands such as Flos, Aesop, Hermes, and Apple. The logo and symbol of the festival reinterpret organic forms and vibrant spaces, mirroring the theme’s emotional and introspective dimension.
3daysofdesign 2025: eight Design Districts and the i-Points

For the first time, 3daysofdesign will be organized across eight thematic districts, each with an i-Point — an information and meeting hub that will also host the District Managers and the new Design Ambassadors.
- Holmen – Transformations: from shipyards to creative spaces, Holmen represents design’s power to evolve. i-Point: Royal Danish Academy
- Christianshavn – Crafts & Materials: a tribute to craftsmanship and material culture. i-Point: Kanalhuset
- Amerikakaj – Atmospheres: a district dedicated to lighting and the emotional quality of space. i-Point: Ocean Saloon
- Nordhavn – Communities: a prototype of the “five-minute city,” it explores the connection between urban planning and quality of life. i-Point: Nordhus
- Kultur – Perspectives: where design meets history, heritage, and new points of view. i-Point: Bryghuspladsen
- Frederiksstaden – Authenticity: Rococo architecture and timeless values celebrate the power of staying true to oneself. i-Point: Designmuseum Danmark
- Rosengård – Insights: between walls and moats, the old city inspires breaking with convention. i-Point: Cinemateket
- Kongens Nytorv – Connections: a historic meeting point that becomes a symbol of real, human connection. i-Point: central square
In each district, i-Points will be active — physical hubs where visitors can meet the District Managers and join Design Walks led by the new Design Ambassadors.
New protagonists: Design Ambassadors
A major new feature of the 2025 edition is the Design Ambassador Programme: a multicultural team of professionals from the UK, Italy, France, Spain, the USA, South Korea, and more. With expertise ranging from interiors to sustainability, the ambassadors will be present in each district to facilitate dialogue, guide visitors, and share insights.
“Design festivals should be more than showcases — they should foster relationships and meaningful moments,” explains Signe Byrdal Terenziani. “Our Ambassadors are here to encourage deeper connections with the stories behind design.”
The ambassadors will also collaborate with Leica Camera Nordics to document the festival’s highlights. Celebrating 100 years of photography, Leica will organize photo walks and a contest, inviting all attendees to explore the festival through the lens of creativity and emotion.

A poetic and symbolic visual identity
As every year, the event is enriched by a unique graphic identity. The visual for KEEP IT REAL is designed by Andreas Samuelsson, a Swedish artist known for his minimalist and poetic graphic language. His work has involved leading brands such as Flos, Hermès, Nike, Aesop, and Apple. For the festival, he has created an image that captures fluid shapes and curvilinear spaces — a symbol of expressive freedom and introspection.

An increasingly open and inclusive festival
With a program that brings together exhibitions, talks, installations, and encounters, 3daysofdesign 2025 strengthens its role as a cultural, educational, and relational platform. In a world of constant change, KEEP IT REAL stands as a manifesto of design sincerity and shared humanity.
