Ovre.design has renovated some rooms and the lobby of the Val di Sogno Hotel in Malcesine, on Lake Garda
Malcesine, on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda, hosts ‘Val di Sogno’, a four-star hotel with 36 rooms and suites that has been recently renovated. At first, the project by Ovre.design only entailed the interior design of some rooms, but later it was extended to the finishes and furniture of the lobby, some rooms and suites.
Ovre.design redesigned the lobby, which is comfortable and welcoming, and has a lovely lake view, just like the 36 rooms and suites. Each room and suite has a unique identity, the result of the creativity of Ovre.design in creating authentic environments embellished with details. All furnishings are custom-designed and multifunctional to make the rooms even more comfortable, now that hotel guests are never simply tourists.
Rooms and suites express a sober elegance, through relaxing and matching materials and colors. The blue of the lake is juxtaposed with Vienna straw, of Central European inspiration; an iconic Smeg ’50s style refrigerator adds comfort to hospitality. The choice of colors favored shades that capture light and recall the natural colors of the place. The goal of the project is to create a space where the guest is in close contact with the surrounding nature and its elements, from the lake water to the sky.
