In Milan, preparations for the Salone del Mobile and the inseparable Fuorisalone, which will take place from 9 to 14 April 2019, are well underway. And there will be the opportunity to participate in the fourth edition of Milan Design Market, one of the most attractive events in the Isola Design District, a characteristic creative district in Milan.

Organized by creative agency Blank, Milan Design Market aims to involve young Italian and international design talents as exhibitors at affordable prices; it is possible to exhibit one object as well as an entire collection in dedicated stands. The venue is the Pop Up Concept Store, an open-plan space that becomes a colorful crossroads of new ideas, prototypes and projects, with the charm of a real market!

The creative director of Milan Design Market, Elif Resitoglu, has chosen as theme for 2019 ‘Find the Lost City’, inspired by the setting that will be created by French architects Marie Chevalier and Colombe Crouan, and the collaboration with Alkanoids that, thanks to the Aria application, will allow visitors to experience augmented reality content in order to discover more about the products and the main theme of the event…going beyond the barriers of physical space.

Another new feature of Milan Design Market is the official e-store allowing designers to have free online visibility also before and after the Fuorisalone, selling their products on www.milandesignmarket.com/shop. For further information and the instructions to participate please visit the Take Part section of the website. [LB]
