The debut of “Time of Spain” featuring 62 companies and four global trends
Time of Spain sounds like a true declaration of intent. The first edition of this format, commissioned by ASCER and supported by ICEX and IVACE, debuts in the province of Castellón under the aegis of Tile of Spain. Cevisama evolves and joins Habitat Feria Valencia with a dedicated pavilion. With new direction and clear ambition, the goal is to create a unified system and transform this event into a permanent fixture on the international calendar.

A Collective Narrative: Matter and Identity
This is not merely a trade fair, but a collective narrative. In 2026, Spanish ceramics cease to be a simple covering. They become a language and a cultural stance. The ITC Trends Observatory has identified four precise trajectories—four distinct ways of inhabiting and perceiving contemporary space.

Geomatter and Innerland: A Return to Earth and Silence
Geomatter looks directly to nature, offering mineral palettes, imperfect surfaces, and geological memories. It marks the triumph of Natural Living, where emotional well-being springs from raw, sincere materials.
Innerland, by contrast, turns down the volume of external chaos. It selects enveloping colors and delicate textures that invite one to slow down. The home becomes a sanctuary for domestic mindfulness: here, Spanish ceramics do not just cover the walls, they embrace the individual.

Heritage Play and Opulis: Between Memory and Future Scenarios
Heritage Play reinterprets the past with sophisticated irony. It recovers historical patterns and artisanal codes, transforming them into a narrative. This is the expression of Cultural Living—an identity built by fearlessly weaving together memory and the present.
Finally, Opulis explores the technological and luminous side of design. High-tech surfaces and metallic reflections create almost cinematic settings. This is Future Living, where aesthetics and innovation coexist in smart, dynamic spaces.

An Emotional Era for Design
Between nature, slowness, memory, and the future, Time of Spain inaugurates an era that transcends the boundaries of a trade show. Spanish ceramics aren’t just changing their look; they are changing their voice. They are taking the international stage, making themselves heard through a new, conscious, and vibrant design language.
