‘No Planet B’: John Richmond, the English fashion designer with a rock soul, is back on the catwalks, ready to fight his green battle as a fierce warrior who does not like respecting too many rules
The brand orbits the Blue Skye Investment Group fund and has entrusted Arav Fashion with the production and distribution. “There are no rules, only interesting mistakes – says Richmond – and I am ready with a recovery plan that will be felt since I will move the creative headquarters from London to Milan, placing Italy at the center of this new expansion.”
Always interested in the coolest styles, from the world of the street or music, in intelligent irreverence towards both tradition and the contemporary world, the designer wants to bring to the fore a kind of fashion that creates culture and is attentive to both the individual and the surrounding environment. His international style outfits women and men, living in a urban and creative context, brimming with different influences and in continuous evolution, going beyond the limited idea of season.
The intrinsic value is in the product, in the authoritative brand that distinguishes it, in the attitude that makes it unique. Today the brand is again a protagonist of the catwalks with its glam rock, sport-tech and streetwear collections, alongside very contemporary high tailoring pieces. New agreements and partnerships have been established also for the Junior line and for the accessories, including bags and shoes, ready to start a new expansion and take up a global challenge.
