Pasquale Junior Natuzzi: marble is strength

Pasquale Junior Natuzzi: marble is a living and vibrant material

Authentic Natural Stone is a living material that is highly appreciated for its thousand possible applications. From architecture to interior design, up to the kitchen, the many variants of stone offer a thousand different interpretations. Marble, granite, travertine and other stones are living materials, which offer multiple possibilities of use and change their appearance depending on the use.

Pasquale Junior Natuzzi, Chief Creative & Marketing Officer, Regional Manager Emerging Markets of his family business, talks with us about marble, its strength and beauty. “The selection of materials in the creative process is a fundamental, as the material is the essence of the project itself. For Natuzzi, the material is an essential part of the product, together with the colors.”

The richness of marble

“Marble is a material with unique characteristics: it is alive and changeable. We are lucky enough to live in Italy, a place where marble is ‘cultivated’. Visiting a quarry and discovering how the material comes to life and is worked is an incredible experience; it’s like a natural funfair. The striations of the material, the iridescent surface of the veining are different interpretations that give life to products that are never the same. For this reason, I feel honored to live in Italy, a country known for the quality of its products, and I am proud to represent Italian marble, a first-class material ‘cultivated’ in our country.”
