Ludovica+Roberto Palomba present Kia EV6, the first electric vehicle by the Korean brand developed on the E-GMP platform
Ludovica+Roberto Palomba have designed for Kia Italia an artistic installation that highlights the aesthetics and features of the new Kia EV6, the first electric vehicle by the Korean brand developed on the E-GMP platform. During the Italian launch, on the occasion of the first national test drive of the car, the duo of architects and designers will present Moving Inspiration, a work of light design to celebrate and enhance the essence of the new car.
In Moving Inspiration the harmonious lines of the car are transformed into streams of light that recall the trails generated by the vehicle in motion. Through a mix of lights and music, the static work by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba visually captures and crystallizes the incredible energy surrounding the new Kia-EV6. The Innocean Italy agency and Studio PS+a also collaborated in the creation of the installation.

Ludovica Serafini explains: “Our creative process is like architecture; everything has to be put into dialogue. When you experience a building, you enter inside it, its space envelops you, inside it there are objects, lamps, sofas. Every detail is part of a more complex system that only light can tell.
The installation of the new KIA EV6 – continues Ludovica Serafini – answers precisely this question: what is the element that relates the car object to the space that will host the installation? During the presentation, the car will be stationary, so we decided to work with the only element we couldn’t work with: movement.”
“The movement of an object generates a wind flow where the object seems to be enveloped by an incredible energy. The luminous work – Moving Inspiration – makes it possible to visualize the energy that the EV6 would have in motion, enhancing the lines that create its harmonious design, projected into the future,” concludes Roberto Palomba.
The mobility of the future
The new Kia EV6 represents the future of electric mobility. In fact, the crossover is a 100% electric, zero-emission car with long range and an 800V ultra-fast charging system. The EV6 is also the first vehicle designed on Kia’s new E-GMP platform, developed specifically and exclusively for electric vehicles.
