At the end of September, Marmomac, the exhibition dedicated to marble and stone in architecture, returns to Veronafiere
From September 27-30, 2022, Marmomac, the trade fair dedicated to marble and stone architecture and design, returns to Verona. As in other editions, the exhibition of materials and machinery for marble processing will accompany the show and the conferences, showing the full potential of different stone materials.
The Plus Theatre, in Hall 10, will be the venue for all the meetings and conferences with different speakers. The VIP lounge, restaurant, wine bar, and the five cultural exhibitions Marmomac dedicates each year to stone design will also be located here. Architects, designers, and furniture brands come together, for designs showcasing all the possible applications of marble and stone.

Moreover, like every year, Marmomac renews its collaboration with ADI, the Association for Industrial Design. Through the ADI delegation of Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, the association organizes Etica-Litica (Ethics-Litics), the exhibition exploring the creative use of scrap. In Etica-Litica, companies are asked to make prototypes from a single slab, including materials recovered from processing. The prototypes must be sustainable, mass-producible, and easily transportable.

Raffaello Galiotto presents Visionary Stone, an exhibition of experimental works in stone processed with numerical technology. The exhibition highlights new expressive languages, and the potential of industrial processing in the creative field as well.
In its fourth edition, Brand & Stone 4.0, the exhibition curated by Danilo Di Michele, welcomes luxury design brands. The brands work with natural stones using new processing techniques. Precious and fascinating, marble plays with design, thanks to multiple collaborations between Italian brands and international design studios. The result is high-end products ready to market.
Talks and workshops at Marmomac 2022
Further insight into architectural matters is provided by the scientific committee of Platform Architecture&Design. Together with Marmomac, Platform will set up a photo exhibition of iconic projects using stone. The projects are carried out by sixteen leading international architectural firms, which will also be included in the schedule of lectures.
Marmomac meets Academies, curated by Giuseppe Fallacara and Domenico Potenza, with the exhibition Italy to Discover. University Research and the Landscape of Urban Public Space, is dedicated to the university. The universities involved are Università degli Studi di Catania, Università degli Studi della Basilicata, Università degli Studi “G. d’Annunzio” di Chieti e Pescara, Università degli Studi La Sapienza di Roma, Politecnico di Bari, Università di Camerino, Accademia delle Belle Arti di Verona, University Technische Kaiserslautern, New York Institute of Technology, Polis University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
