The first edition of Sustainable Design China Summit took place in Beijing, September 26-28
Design China Summit 2022, held in Beijing from September 26-28, became the first Sustainable Design China Summit. During the three days of meetings, more than 70 industry professionals, many of international renown, held some 40 interesting debates and round tables.
The event was attended by over 2,500 professionals, representing over 400 companies in the industry. Moreover, more than 390 architectural firms, 40 urban planning firms, 30 certified consulting firms and 30 real estate developers were also present.

Among the speakers at the Summit there were many world-class architects. For example, we can mention Woods Bagot, Snøhetta, Stefano Boeri Architetti, B.L.U.E., Penda China, China Academy of Building Research, Cuningham, Arup; and famous real estate developers such as Shui On Xintiandi, Archina, SURBANA JURONG (SJ), Swire Properties, Hongkong Land, China Jinmao, Cushman & Wakefield, Gemdale.

The main theme of the three days of debates and meetings was long-term sustainability of the design and architecture industry as it relates to politics, culture, technology, ecology and economics. The next Sustainable Design China Summit will be held in Beijing from September 21-23, 2023.
