Pietrelli Porte embellishes the walls of the Rocco Forte Hotel de la Ville in Rome, confirming its leadership in the international high-end contract market
Pietrelli Porte embellishes the walls of the Rocco Forte Hotel de la Ville in Rome with 130 bespoke doors with two-tone custom finishes: red on the corridor, and white inside the rooms. The doors are soundproofed and EI60 certified, according to current UNI EN 1634-1 standards. Casings and skirting boards are made to measure, while hinges and lock are customized. Doors facing the corridor have recessed door closers and a fixed knob with an antiqued brass handle; those inside the rooms, on the other hand, are either hinged or sliding, in a custom lacquer finish.
Pietrelli Porte: The history
F.lli Pietrelli was founded in 1960, when the Guido and Leandro Pietrelli (brothers) opened a small 100 sqm workshop in Bellocchi di Fano (Marche Region, Italy) to produce handmade wooden frames. Later, due to excellent quality achievements, they decided to specialize in wooden doors only, transforming F.lli Pietrelli into Pietrelli Porte.
Over the years, while preserving a family-based management, the company has become a large-sized firm. Today, fifty years after its foundation, it is a leader in the international market of design-oriented building contractors.
