New York-based clothing brand Noah and GUBI join forces to create a special edition MR01 Outdoor Lounge Chair and a new capsule collection of beachwear
This summer, the world of GUBI blends with the New York spirit of Noah fusing fashion and design together. United by the same passion for the free and easy style that distinguishes beach lovers, in fact, the two brands are launching together a special, colorful edition of the MR01 Outdoor Lounge Chair, designed by Mathias Steen Rasmussen, and a 5-piece capsule collection of clothing items.
Design meets fashion
GUBI’s MR01, made of iroko wood and ideal for outdoor environments, recalls the aesthetics of the nautical world with its rope seat. Moreover, thanks to its lightweight structure, it can be easily moved where needed. For this collaboration, four new colors were chosen for the ropes, which are made of an ultra-durable waterproof polyester used in the sailing world. The new colors range from bright yellow to bright blue, from a timeless dark blue to a contemporary gray.
As a complement to the MR01 Lounge Chair outdoor collection, the five-piece line develops the rope element and the reference to the sea through an oversized beach towel, 5-ply waterproof hat, beach shorts, tote bag, boat-neck sweater. Directly inspired by the colors of the chairs, all Noah accessories feature the GUBI logo, reinterpreted in a new color scheme.
