The evolution of the Bathroom: between wellness, innovation, and new frontiers of design
Below is a series of examples of the state of the bathroom environment, not only the bathroom, but also wellness, understood as a place for self-care, which has become increasingly defined, developed and ‘affordable’ for a wider clientele, so much so that the difference between demand and supply has become increasingly narrow thanks to solutions that are true micro-architectures that can be placed anywhere, on the terrace and in the garden, in one’s own home or in a hospitality facility.
Agha
Designed by Enrico Cesana, Way is a shower enclosure with a minimalist aesthetic: it is frameless, 210 cm tall, with telescopic compensating aluminum wall profiles. Additionally, it features detachable sliding doors, carriages with stainless steel ball bearings (Ø 3 cm), and 8 mm thick tempered glass. Available in corner and niche configurations, Way offers accessibility and practicality thanks to its low containment edge and detachable doors. It is equipped with an ultra-clear PVC magnetic closure or integrated into an aluminum profile. Every Agha shower enclosure, part of the Artesi group, is designed to offer a wide range of customizations and configurations.
Altamarea
MODO Project, designed by Franco Driusso, is a complete bathroom collection that combines creativity, technical expertise, and functionality for maximum compositional freedom. Its distinctive feature is the new Alu_Project aluminum extrusion: a structural element extended to the Monolite module and countertops, enhancing the linearity of the design and highlighting the finishes, available in a wide range. Among the innovations: the Petit micro-sink, perfect for furnishing even small spaces, and the Traccia vertical slat design, which can be paired with Oak finishes.
Antolini
A tangible example of Antolini’s expertise in working with natural stones, Cristallo Vitrum ‘WOW,’ Natural Quartz from the Exclusive Collection, offers a variety of solutions, from cladding to surfaces, highlighting the quality of the material and the excellence of craftsmanship. Among these is the spectacular bathtub, carved from a single solid block of natural stone and hand-polished: a sculptural piece that showcases Antolini’s artisanal mastery in creating timeless, iconic furnishings from Mother Nature.
Antoniolupi
The three sinks Ramses, Teti, and Cheope, designed by AMDL CIRCLE, rise like ancient monuments, showcasing the excellence of high craftsmanship: fabric cords and metal points connect wooden slats, while cast bronze takes on a conical and fluted shape. From this blend of classic and noble materials, such as steel, bronze, and wood, sculptural column sinks are born. Ramses combines the burnished bronze basin with the oxidized black finish of the wooden elements; steel and walnut wood come together in Teti, offering a modern solution that tells a story of tradition and craftsmanship. Cheope stands out as a bronze sculpture with a golden patina, created using the casting technique.
Antrax IT
Various shades of green, comprising a range of over 16 color variations within the Antrax IT catalog, adorn the collections of heating elements designed to enhance bathroom and spa environments, reinforcing an ideal of wellness. The Waffle radiator, born from collaboration with Piero Lissoni, is available in textured, material finishes that offer a tactile effect: its three-dimensional texture becomes even more dynamic with Verde Brentonico, one of the latest additions to Antrax IT’s Color Chart. It includes accessories made from walnut or natural ash wood, such as a towel holder for the vertical version or a hook for hanging towels or bathrobes.
Arbi Arredobagno
Formal rigor harmoniously blends with the aesthetic sophistication provided by color in the Master collection; indeed, the wide color palette—56 shades, including 4 metallic tones, plus oak wood—makes it extremely versatile and ideal for customized configurations. Not only is there a focus on color, but also on meticulous attention to detail: from the special 45° craftsmanship of the integrated handle that ensures greater ease of use to the multiple finishes available, including the new Bricks treatment that creates a schematic play of shadows and perspectives.
Arblu
The new collection of bathtubs features a variety of models: from freestanding to wall-mounted, corner versions to niche designs, and from rounded to square shapes, including boxed bathtubs and those with a ledge. This variety extends to the color range—from pure white to the more sophisticated tones found in the Arblu color palette—and to the materials, such as Tecnoblu and Geablu, ensuring durability and resistance over time. The sinuous lines of the freestanding bathtubs harmoniously integrate into any space: Grace, with its elegant and refined design; Taormina, a blend of tradition and modernity; Amalfi, spacious and comfortable for uncompromising relaxation; and Tulip, with its graceful curves.
CEADESIGN
Inspired by an archetypal form, the Sixty collection of faucets and bathroom accessories, designed by Belgian architect Glenn Sestig, features an ergonomic and elegant geometry that results from the combination of high technological standards and stylistic refinement. Fully made of stainless steel, Sixty is available in both satin and polished variants, as well as in the exclusive satin Black Ivory finish: a perfect complement to the materiality and tones of the Titanium Travertine marble used for the mirror and monolithic sink, also designed by Glenn Sestig.

Blade is equipped with a strategically positioned lever above the faucet body that resembles a thin blade and a Ø25 cartridge for deck-mounted models, as well as an aerator that limits the flow to 5.62 liters per minute—elements that characterize its water efficiency. The series is available in the following finishes: chrome, matte black, alux, brushed rose gold PVD, glossy and brushed black chrome, brushed metallic, and brushed gold brass PVD.

Special sizes are also available to create customized layouts, featuring the new dukafix wall profile mounting technique: a special adhesive that requires no wall drilling, allowing for a simple and quick installation, ensuring durability, and permitting an extension of +/- 2mm. This system is designed to uphold the essential design and high functionality while offering greater ease of installation.
FIMA Carlo Frattini
Composed of a series of shower heads with a reduced diameter and designed for installation on drywall, Waterdot is the new shower system developed by FimaLab aimed at providing maximum creative freedom. Users can choose the type of water flow, thanks to four different jets that can be combined: the traditional rain, laminar, mist spray, and intertwined mikado spray. Waterdot is also customizable, available in two versions: Trimeless, characterized by the absence of edges, integrates the shower head into the ceiling, and Frame, distinguished by a thin border available in refined textures. The result is a product that combines high quality, captivating design, and great functionality.
Rexa
Designed by Studio Monica Graffeo, the Cava bathtub is a sculptural element carved from a single block of stone, shaped to create a piece with a strong sculptural significance while maintaining graceful lines. It is available in Carrara marble, Nero Marquina, Verde Alpi, and a new entry—Rosso Levanto, a marble from the Ligurian Riviera, characterized by its distinctive dark red color with hints of violet and long, sparse white and green veining. Cava is an object that, thanks to its dramatic presence, craftsmanship, and quality material, becomes the focal point of the bathroom.
Rubinetterie Treemme
Inspired by the Albatross, a symbol of freedom and lightness of movement, the collection of the same name, made of brass and designed by Gianluca Belli of Phicubo, stands out for its sculptural and fluid forms that convey dynamism. It features clean and minimalist lines that impart lightness and simplicity to the design. Additionally, it offers maximum functionality: the unique angle of the faucet is designed to keep the handle above the basin of the sink, preventing water drips on the countertop when turning off the water with wet hands. Available in all finishes offered in the brand’s brass collections, Albatros has a distinctive flat cartridge of 22 millimeters.
Scarabeo
Lightness and color rhyme with functionality in the new Gustav solution, ideal for small bathrooms: a versatile proposal capable of furnishing with personality while offering simple and comfortable usability. Available in multiple colors, both in glossy and matte finishes, Gustav is made of metal and features a light and airy structure equipped with two circular shelves for placing the sink and everyday items. Each element of the structure is independent in its finish, allowing for tonal matching or separation to create different combinations.
Scavolini
Style and functionality come together in Miko, the new bathroom furniture program designed by Vuesse. Its distinctive feature is the square door with an “L” profile, offered in combination with two types of groove: Flat or Round. The project’s versatility is reflected in the numerous alternatives for the doors—available in glass with a Silver, White, or Iron Grey aluminum frame, in smooth or slatted versions, or with a metal effect, in decorative, laminated, laminate strips, and Fenix NTM®. There is also a wide selection of finishes, colors, and material options, including the three new shades: Cuvée, Pas Dosé, and Perlage.

Made of crystal and aluminum, with a height of up to 300 cm, Suite enables the creation of innovative configurations, with a technical innovation level that meets high-performance standards. There are also updates for the internal partition, which previously functioned as a fixed wall to separate the dry area from the wet area; it now acts as a true door, allowing passage from the shower to the dry area without losing its water-tightness. Pictured is Suite featuring finishes: Cristallo Omnidecor Riga 1.5 Grigio/Grigio and an Ottanio profile.
