Oasi Life Experience returns for Milano Design Week 2026: DDN HUB takes center stage in Milan’s institutional heart

From the Olympic experience to a new chapter for Fuorisalone 2026: A journey through architecture, networking, and design culture

Following the experience gained during the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, Oasi Life Experience—the format promoted by Regione Lombardia and conceived by Idea Integrale—is opening a new chapter during Milan Design Week 2026, strengthening its international and design-focused dimension.

In this context, DDN – Design Diffusion News consolidates its role as a strategic partner with DDN HUB, an editorial and relational platform that plays a decisive role in shaping the event’s content and identity. The project places the week’s most qualified audience at its core: architects, interior designers, and leading industry representatives.

From April 21 to 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to midnight, Piazza Città di Lombardia will once again be transformed into one of the main hubs of Fuorisalone 2026, with the official inauguration in the presence of the President of the Lombardy Region scheduled for Monday, April 20.

From the Olympics to Fuorisalone 2026: A Proven Model

During Milano Cortina 2026, Oasi Life Experience activated over 3,500 square meters of exhibition space, serving as a representation of the local territory and a cultural platform open to the public and international media.

The main architect of the Olympic project was the studio Progetto CMR, while the food experience was curated by Antonino, il Banco di Cannavacciuolo, a format by chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo. Alongside them, excellence brands in design, lifestyle, and media—such as Arper, Volcom, RTL 102.5, and many others—brought the space to life.

During the last Milano Design Week, the location recorded over 70,000 visitors, confirming its status as one of the most frequented and strategic spaces of the entire Fuorisalone.

DDN Hub 2026: New Vision, Same Focus on Design

For the 2026 edition, the space—under the artistic direction of Adriana Lohmann—will continue to enhance the visitor experience by combining cultural content, design, and social interaction.

The presence of Antonino, il Banco di Cannavacciuolo continues, while DDN HUB becomes the editorial heart of the experience: a space designed to foster direct dialogue between companies and the design community.

During Milano Design Week, the true value lies not just in the exhibition, but in the encounter. For this reason, DDN HUB is configured as a privileged venue for architects and designers seeking content, relationships, and concrete opportunities. Talks with industry leaders, institutions, and international studios, along with corporate presentations, installations, and structured networking sessions, will form an agenda tailored to intercept the Fuorisalone’s most qualified public.

Musical evenings and performances will complete the program, keeping the square vibrant until midnight.

DDN Gala and Belvedere: Design Meets the Red Carpet

Among the most anticipated moments of the week, the DDN Gala will take place on Thursday, April 23. Recognized as the only “red carpet of design” during Design Week, this annual event gathers designers, entrepreneurs, institutions, and the international press for an evening dedicated to industry excellence.

The program is completed by exclusive moments and “star-studded” evenings at the Belvedere of Palazzo Lombardia, offering a privileged view of the city that serves as a symbol of an international outlook on contemporary design.

From the Olympic experience to Design Week, Oasi Life Experience and DDN HUB confirm their commitment to building a stable hub for dialogue between institutions, the production system, and design culture, transforming Piazza Città di Lombardia into one of the strategic epicenters of Milano Design Week.
