Slamp and Mazda celebrate Italian craftsmanship

Slamp manufactures its lamps in Pomezia, following strict quality and sustainability processes with a strong Italian imprint.

Slamp, an Italian company symbolizing scenographic and poetic lighting, joins the “Eccellenze Italiane” project promoted by Mazda Italia in collaboration with Inghirami Company.
This initiative, part of a national project, aims to highlight the value of “handmade,” attention to detail, and the blend of traditional craftsmanship with technological innovation—principles shared by both brands and synonymous with the highest production quality.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, March 12, at the Pomezia headquarters.

This journey is marked by a series of events across Italy, culminating in June with a grand national exhibition showcasing all the handmade creations. On Wednesday, March 12, the event will be held at the Slamp headquarters in Pomezia (Rome), organized in collaboration with Car Point, the official Mazda dealer.

Slamp, rigorous quality and sustainability processes

With an international outlook and, at the same time, a strong connection to Italy and its territory, Slamp manufactures its lamps in Pomezia, following strict quality and sustainability processes. Among its creations, Hanami was chosen as the symbol of this collaboration: a pendant lamp entirely handmade by Slamp’s talented “light seamstresses.”
Hanami represents craftsmanship, quality, innovation, and, last but not least, the poetry that defines the company. Designed by Adriano Rachele, this pendant lamp is inspired by the traditional Japanese ceremony of enjoying the cherry blossom bloom. Its name literally means “to observe the flowers.”
