Fima Carlo Frattini, the “Slide” triumphs at the iF Design Award 2025

FIMA Carlo Frattini wins the iF DESIGN AWARD GOLD with SLIDE: Innovation and Design Recognized Internationally

FIMA Carlo Frattini, a symbol of Italian excellence in the faucet industry, achieves an extraordinary milestone: winning the iF Design Award 2025 in the prestigious GOLD category with SLIDE, the revolutionary mixer designed by Davide Vercelli. This recognition, one of the most coveted internationally, underscores the company’s ability to strike the perfect balance between innovation, functionality, and aesthetics—values that have always been at the core of its design philosophy.

iF Design Award, one of the world’s most authoritative design competitions

The iF Design Award, with nearly 11,000 entries from 66 countries, is one of the most authoritative design competitions worldwide. It is a true seal of quality that rewards excellence and the most visionary ideas in the global industry. Being among the only 75 winners in the GOLD category represents an exceptional achievement, an exclusive certification of FIMA’s ongoing commitment to researching and developing cutting-edge solutions.

Slide, innovative opening mechanism

SLIDE stands out for its innovative opening mechanism, a feature that disrupts the traditional lever lifting motion. Now, thanks to a refined mechanism based on the sliding of two cylindrical portions on an inclined plane, a simple press allows for precise control of water flow. The essential design, characterized by clean lines and the use of pure Stainless Steel 316, seamlessly integrates into modern environments, catering to an audience increasingly focused on the balance between beauty and functionality.

The success of SLIDE at the iF Design Award 2025 confirms FIMA Carlo Frattini’s leadership in the faucet design sector and reaffirms the value of Made in Italy on an international scale.
