Loewe Teapots, a selection of teapots custom-made by 25 artists, designers, and architects
In occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2025, the prestigious Spanish brand Loewe presents its exclusive collection “Loewe Teapots,” a selection of teapots custom-made by 25 artists, designers, and architects.

Loewe Teapots, the exhibition at Palazzo Citterio
The exhibition will be held at Palazzo Citterio in Milan from April 7 to 13, offering an innovative reinterpretation of tea ceramics and creating an important platform for dialogue between Eastern and Western craft aesthetics. Among the prominent participants is Chen Min, internationally renowned Chinese industrial designer, who will present his latest collection.
Teapot, personal interpretations of the teapot
Each artist participating in “Teapot” has given their own personal interpretation of the teapot. Together, the works reimagine the sculptural form of this object, drawing inspiration from the unique and diverse traditions of tea preparation and culture worldwide. Chen Min’s Duan series explores the balance between sensitivity and stability in the ritual act of pouring tea.

The design of the Gaiwan invites reflection on the dynamic relationship between man and object
Thanks to a self-regulating mechanism, the design of the Gaiwan invites reflection on the dynamic relationship between man and object. The Duan Hu, on the other hand, meaning “to serve a teapot,” expresses an elegant and deliberate action, symbolizing care, precision, and tradition—values deeply linked to the tea culture.
The significant collaboration of Chen Min with Loewe
Particularly significant is Chen Min’s long and fruitful collaboration with Loewe. His connection with the brand began in 2018, when his “Hangzhou Stool” became a finalist in the prestigious Loewe Foundation Craft Prize. In 2019, he was invited to be part of the jury for this prize. In 2020, he was invited to design the Prominence Vase, which was included in the Loewe Weaves collection and later showcased in the “Loewe Crafted World” exhibition organized by Loewe in 2024.
Chen Min’s mastery
Each milestone in his career highlights Chen Min’s mastery in design and his commitment to integrating both Eastern and Western aesthetics. His participation in the Salone del Mobile in Milan further affirms his role as a key figure in contemporary design and as an ambassador of Chinese creativity on the international stage. Chen Min is an internationally renowned industrial designer and founder of Neooold. He has collaborated with global brands such as NIKE, IKEA, LOEWE, Veneta Cucine, and ICICLE, earning numerous international design awards, including the Red Dot and iF Awards. He has also served as a juror for professional design competitions such as Dezeen and MillerKnoll. His famous creation, the “Hangzhou Stool,” was selected to be part of the permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou in France.
