A time of new developments for Novamobili, the brand dedicated to the living and sleeping areas
A time of new developments for Novamobili, the Battistella Company brand dedicated to furniture and systems for the living and sleeping areas. Novamobili is unveiling a new upright system and celebrating the tenth anniversary of its flagship store on Via Melchiorre Gioia in Milan.

Dedalo: outstanding ingenuity
Dedalo is Novamobili’s new upright system, whose name alone suggests its remarkable ingenuity. Fluidity, eclecticism, and versatility: with Dedalo — available starting next autumn — Novamobili encapsulates some of the brand’s strongest core values. Designed for both living and sleeping areas, but also easily adaptable to other spaces, Dedalo is founded on maximum design freedom. A wardrobe for a walk-in closet, a bookcase dividing the living room, office or living room shelving, or a wall unit for the entryway — the system’s combination of elements and finishes offers architects and interior designers countless functional and stylistic solutions.
Modular and customizable units
Dedalo’s structure, which can be wall-mounted or floor-to-ceiling (even double-sided), combines vertical aluminum uprights — extruded and then either painted or clad in oak veneer or wood essence — with horizontal shelves in a variety of materials: smoked glass, leather, light stone, essence, veneer, oxidized or matte lacquer. These are framed in lacquered aluminum (in oxidized, matte, and metallic finishes).
Modules are available in 45, 60, 90, and 120 cm widths and can be freely combined and customized in finishes and accessories. Additional containers and components can be added to tailor the structure to space and needs: bottle and glass holders, rotatable TV units, desks, swing-door or drop-down storage, and drawer units for the living area; rotating mirrors, hanging rods, trouser racks, tie holders, shoe storage, drawer chests, and fabric-covered boxes for a fully equipped and functional bedroom.
Novamobili’s hallmark — a wide variety of material options — allows a clear stylistic identity to be given to the wall: modern and minimal with a burnished structure and glass shelves, warm and welcoming with light oak veneer, or classic and elegant with carbon oak.
The conical shape of the caps — offered in finishes including the new-for-2025 blonde walnut — and integrated LED lighting (vertical on the uprights and horizontal inside containers) further reflect Novamobili’s attention to detail, making Dedalo a consistent yet highly practical design.

Novamobili: Ten Years of Gioia
This is the claim with which Novamobili celebrates the tenth anniversary of its flagship store at Via Melchiorre Gioia 6/8 in Milan.
Opened in 2015 in the vibrant Porta Nuova district, the 500-square-meter multifunctional space has since become a hub for professionals, resellers, and private clients from around the world — not only a showcase for Novamobili’s collections, but also a key meeting place for architects and interior designers.
“We are truly happy to celebrate this anniversary,” says Alberto Battistella, General Director of Novamobili. “It’s an important milestone and the realization of a dream. We’re grateful to everyone who has contributed over the years to making this space a hub of creativity and innovation, giving life to unique projects designed to improve well-being at home. Over these ten years, we’ve welcomed over twelve thousand visitors — clients, architects, designers, and enthusiasts — helping them find unique inspiration and solutions. Their trust is our greatest reward.”
To mark the occasion, the company has created a photographic book capturing the most significant events and moments held at the flagship store over the decade — a collectible edition for design lovers’ libraries.

New flagship setup and 2025 innovations
The flagship store features an exclusive new setup that reaffirms its role as a benchmark in both the Italian and international markets. The space showcases Novamobili’s latest innovations in furniture and system design.
Dedalo takes center stage — a versatile and innovative upright system designed for various areas of the home — alongside three new finishes added to Novamobili’s already broad offering. The showroom invites visitors into a refined and welcoming lifestyle: the layout flows through five environments (two living areas and three bedrooms), expressing the brand’s philosophy of combining style and comfort to create spaces that prioritize personal well-being.
The first living area highlights a natural color palette: new blonde walnut veneer is enhanced by warm accents such as terracotta, mahogany, and earth-toned oak, harmonizing with modern materials like smoked glass and light stone.
The space, fluid and flexible, includes a dining area with the Rea table featuring a Calacatta Grey top, Navy chairs upholstered in fabric, and the Bay sideboard in blonde walnut with slatted doors and sliding coplanar openings. Nearby, the majestic Avenue sofa — with its clean lines — defines two relaxation zones: one faces the main wall, customized with functional boiserie, wall-mounted bases, cabinets, and shelves; the other is more intimate, designed for conversation, with Balance coffee tables in finishes such as the new Lunargento oxidized lacquer, the Hamptons armchair, and two freestanding Freebook bookcases.
The first bedroom offers both spaciousness and versatility, with a warm, relaxing atmosphere thanks to darker, deeper tones. The room centers around the Dedalo modular system with a double-sided floor-to-ceiling structure in burnished oxidized lacquer, enhanced by leather inserts and functional accessories. The Dedalo walls separate an area featuring the sliding Layer wardrobe with fluted glass doors and the Sommier bed with storage base and backlit Space headboard, from a space with the Crystal wardrobe with mirrored doors and the Giro-giro dresser in quartz matte lacquer with leather top. A bar area with Twist stools completes the room, demonstrating the versatility of the Wall 30 bookcase.

In the second bedroom, the focus shifts to wardrobes: the curved modules and vertically slatted doors of the Stave wardrobe in dove-gray lacquer surround the Mizu bed in light oak, matching the Vesta bedside tables and dresser. The Stave doors open to reveal a walk-in closet built using the modular Break system with a rack structure, corner modules, and custom accessories including drawers, rods, and LED lighting.
The Dedalo system also dominates the second living room. The corner composition in light oak, with shelves and inserts in glass, leather, and wood, separates it from the third bedroom. Here, the Blossom sofa’s curved shape echoes the oval lines of the Sunny dining table’s matte green Guatemala marble top. In the bedroom, the Matisse bed in light oak with leather-finished trays is flanked by a large wardrobe with the Perry system and two floor-to-ceiling Dedalo modules, functioning as a desk or vanity.
