The new Sanlorenzo yacht is the largest in the crossover line: innovation, sustainability, and design by Lissoni & Partners and Zuccon International Project
Sanlorenzo SX120 makes its debut as the most advanced model in the brand’s crossover line, a project that redefines the boundaries of contemporary yachting. Measuring 37 meters in length with a gross tonnage of 270 GT, the SX120 offers a unique combination of generous volumes, sustainable technology, and refined interiors. The exterior was designed by Zuccon International Project, while the interiors were curated by Piero Lissoni. The yacht will be officially unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 9 to 14 September 2025.

Sustainable technology for the future of yachting
The SX120 is the world’s first large composite yacht to feature the innovative Volvo Penta IPS Professional Platform. The propulsion system includes four compact 1,000 HP engines, delivering high performance while significantly reducing fuel consumption, emissions, and onboard footprint. Thanks to the Eco Mode function and the integrated SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system for exhaust treatment, the SX120 represents a concrete example of responsible yachting, combining performance with environmental awareness.

A revolutionary four-deck layout
The SX120 introduces a new spatial layout in naval architecture. Volumes have been shifted forward to expand the aft beach area, which reaches up to 70 sqm thanks to folding side terraces. A retractable pool with a lift-and-slide mechanism adds flexibility, privacy, and safety while maintaining visual continuity with the sea. Just a few steps away, a spacious interior lounge flows seamlessly from the outdoor area. The lower deck includes four guest cabins, a small hammam, and crew quarters.

Essential design and integration with the landscape
The interiors, designed by Lissoni & Partners, reflect a refined and material-based elegance. A signature element is the wooden slatted ceiling and wall cladding that provides architectural continuity. Additional finishes include steel-effect vertical inserts, parquet and carpet flooring, and marble-effect ceramic surfaces in the bathrooms. The master cabin, located at the bow of the main deck, features a backlit headboard that acts as both a decorative and functional divider, offering comfort and visual depth. A central sculptural staircase in wood and steel connects the decks, while the dining area accommodates up to 14 guests.

360° views and smart solutions
The upper deck offers a 360-degree panoramic view and serves as a multifunctional space that can be configured as a media room, playroom, or dining area. At the stern, a lounge opens toward the sea and connects to the sun deck via an external staircase. One of the most innovative features is the Smart Island: a modular seating system that can be configured with added functionalities to create a private and exclusive space. Every detail on board is designed to enhance onboard comfort and versatility.

SX120: the perfect synthesis of explorer and flybridge
The SX120 embodies the crossover philosophy of Sanlorenzo: functionality, aesthetics, liveability, and adaptability. “SX120 represents the natural evolution of a line that has redefined the concept of yachting,” says Tommaso Vincenzi, CEO of Sanlorenzo. Bernardo Zuccon highlights the development of a unique identity for each SX model, while Piero Lissoni describes the SX120 as “a spectacular floating architecture, a synthesis of all the successful elements of the previous SX models.”
