Between metal and upholstery, blue becomes the stylistic signature of Desalto’s collections.
2025 highlights: Sum by Francesco Rota and Zinco by Luca Pevere
Blue is more than just a color. For Desalto, it’s a distinctive mark — a chromatic choice that runs through collections and materials with understated elegance. The brand’s catalogue offers a wide range of finishes designed for maximum customization. And it’s this very hue that conveys a cohesive vision, defined by pure volumes and refined details.

On upholstered fabrics, blue becomes soft, deep, and enveloping. On metal, it takes on new strength—blending with glossy or matte surfaces to create sharp yet subtle reflections. A quiet but powerful presence that runs through all the brand’s latest designs.
Desalto turns blue: the new 2025 collection
Among this year’s new arrivals, Sum stands out—a modular upholstered system designed by Francesco Rota, built around a square base module to create custom compositions. Formal balance, comfort, and flexibility lie at the heart of the project.

Another key piece for 2025 is Zinco, designed by Luca Pevere, which explores the raw essence of metal through industrial style and bold geometry. Available as a bookshelf or a table, it truly comes to life in blue—especially when paired with refined materials like marble.

Alongside the new releases, Desalto also reintroduces some of its most iconic pieces in blue: the Softer than steel chair by Nendo, crafted from steel tubing; the HEB table by Francesco Rota; the Micro Clay series by Marc Krusin; and the Helsinki bookshelf by Caronni + Bonanomi, paired with the HEB table and the Calum office chair by Simon Pengelly—a trio perfectly suited to professional spaces.
